Typical Oanda. I have spreads of around 2.5 ave on 3 other brokers while Oanda sticks it up around 10 . Go figure

Spread with min. 10 pips from oanda at this hour is not normal. Looks like there'll be some wild swing today.

no ben, is actually not normal, 11 am in Australia, sometimes on mondays we have slightly wider spreads during early Asian session, like 2 on EURUSD and 3 on AUDUSD

but this too much, I am trying to contact them

Can you please advise your opinion of GomarketsAus if you have traded with them?

They are on MT4 and allow hedging in the same currency pair.

I'm with them and find them A1. Had no problems at all. Fast email replies to questions. Low spreads. Since they changed servers, no requotes at all.

Just been trying their mobile terminal on my phone today, and thats OK too so far.

Were expecting 25 basis point increase, if the RBA comes and surprise us and doesn't increase, Bulls are in big trouble as AUD has already priced in much of the expectation. We may easily see several hundred pips lost.

On the other hand if RBA surprises and increases by 50 basis points, we'll likely see couple hundred pip gain.

As long as we see 25 points increase I'm happy and is evident the recovery trade continues.

RTRS-Australia govt upgrades economic, fiscal outlooks

This should mean RBA will increase interest rates 99.9% tomorrow?

I hope you are right. But at the moment its painsully slow, almost putting me off to sleep.
You were right about the downward movement last week. The US index is sitting at 76.26, and an upward trend. Gold is holding and the markets... well dropped. I think that we could see lower lows again, and certainly mucjh below if the RBA doesnt increase rates.
What's your take?
Find a job that you love and you dont have to work again in your life.

I dont think Go market is the good broker, outside looks good but
their charts unplug manytimes and spikes.

I have test them and test with FXCM and also axsodl. (sydney)

Tight spreads and fast orders no requotes are good. interest on carry trades is not as good/more expensive as other brokers.

Having to fill out a form and send it to them to withdraw funds is a bummer

Other than that I've had no problems with them. Oh they also allow you to set stops/limits/oto s as close as u want, which would be great for hedge scalping.
u also don't need initial margin to set your oto s which is handy also to potentially 'snowball' in ur sleep.
