EURUSD holds onto gains, Retail accounts buying AUDJPY

EUR hs held onto the 1.47 handle this afternoon and is currently trading at the day’s high. Intraday shorts continue to cover and with no technical resistance until 1.4850-60, traders will turn to Europe soon for clues. There are some sellers here at 1.4750-70 but nothing large.

This post helped me a lot, well time to sleep, I have to recover 19US$ I let a pending short, now NY time is with my local time, so I will be at work when the market opens

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks fell, extending the MSCI Asia Pacific Index’s first monthly decline since February, as weaker commodity prices and a drop in U.S. consumer spending fueled concern corporate earnings growth will falter.

South Korea fx authorities spotted buying dlrs to curb won’s strength – Traders

Traders are once again reporting South Korean fx authorities intervening, buying dollar’s to try and curb the won’s strength. Some of these dollars will obviously be transferred into euros, so we can expect further reports of Asian sovereign buying in EUR/USD on dips.

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The euro rose against the yen and the dollar as signs the global economy is recovering trimmed demand for the relative safety of the U.S. and Japanese currencies.

The Australian dollar climbed against all 16 most-traded currencies as Treasurer Wayne Swan said economic growth will be faster than expected and a government report showed house price increases accelerated. Japan’s currency earlier rose to the strongest level in three weeks against the dollar and the euro after New York-based CIT Group Inc. filed for bankruptcy.

1) 15:00 GMT ISM index in America with production expected to be released 53.0, At the same time quote a letter housing sales index also expected to be announced 0.4%, If the news is announced in the opposite direction, it is better not trading.

if ISM Manufacturing >= 56.0 OR Pending Home Sales >= 3.4% then USDJPY go Up 30 pips
if ISM Manufacturing <= 51.0 OR Pending Home Sales <= -1.6% then USDJPY go Down 30 pips


2) 3:30 am tomorrow Australian interest rates will be announced, Expected to increase with 25 units to be changed to 3.50%.

if Interest Rate = 3.25% then AUDUSD go Up 80 pips
if Interest Rate = 3.75% then AUDUSD go Down 80 pips

Euro zone Oct (final) manufacturing PMI 50.7

Euro zone October (final) manufacturing PMI has come in at 50.7, up from 49.3 in September, and in line with the flash estimate and median forecast. It’s an 18-month high.

EUR/USD steady around 1.4770.

Well 1hr before it touch my pending order on .4790, now is on red, I open a Short, both with their respective SL, I agree with Jm4x, this thing is going down, but thinking again this is forex, anything can happen, 1st day of the month, ppl opening their monthly positions and so on. So lets see some profits today... I just arrived at the office.
