What about the GDP figure coming out later on?...if it is crap it will no doubt hit the $ .Notice that Goldmans have revised their forecast down to 2.7% from an expected 3.2%.

u gonna short aud/nzd? its at the top of the range now,

with the interest rates next week perhaps not such a good idea?

hopefully im already infront of my pc 1 hour before that happen, so i can see the price action in realtime, what time is the announcemen (sydney time)?

my rule numero uno/number one is my chart should show if its to go short before i consider entering sell button.

both longs and shorts all over the place, with no stop losses set the margins are offseting.

started off as hedging losing positions, now not sure whats the positions and whats the hedge?

I try to pick tops and bottoms, reversals. Close out the winning position and let the loosing position shrink.

Its not working very well so far though...

I have a Buy stop at double my current posi above 9100 to begin a medium term long position, i also have asx 200 hedging as i plan to buy on this (maybe large pullback/reversal)

ah i see! i experience the same as you when i first started this thingy.

ok what i do is just concerntrate on average position, where and what is the average position? where and what is the average long?

then focus to the winning side and put stop or to protect the gain and add equal size to the winning . when the trade going your way you had 1 losing position and 2 winning position

Has anyone noticed if you bring up the aud:usd pair on say M15 chart and have a price overlap of the eur:usd there seems to be a fairly consistent tracking of the two, except every coupel of days the eur:usd seems to fall much faster than the aud:usd and it creates a good sell signal for the pair, as the aud:usd eventually sells down to track with the euro again?

Am i looking at this correctly?

Also are we forming the right side shoulder on the asx200 Daily chart atm?

and the trade not going your way the stop hit after you add to the winning side, ok now you back to the square that is 1 short 1 long and price travel to the middle of the range , now you had both trades in losing positions , the balance should be up but the net asset value will down, what next? as the price in the middle set the limit long above that middle price every 20 or 30 pip also do the same for the short and watch, snowballing at work.

when the trend establish you will never visit that loosing position and ridind /adding the winning one

draw the line in the sand we find the price at 0.9000 set 5 limit orders above it every 10 pips, so does the short side limit.

price move down 100 pip so... we got 5 winning trades and lost 1 trade

What about short squeeze, spikes, they could falsely fill all your orders only to return the other way and have a bigger loss??

Are you with GO markets or with MT4 that allows hedging the same currency pair?

For records, I have closed my CMC account with a profit (to CMC markets) of 5K.

Now I aim to make it a loss (for GoMarkets) using hedging theory.
