I value your honesty, brutal is what the market is and brutal honesty is what it takes to whip me in shape then so be it.

Oanda is 1.4(but I round of to 2 as I hate pippettes, they confuse me and I make more calculation mistakes using them then if I just round up) during Asia, its still a cheap broker except Asia has lower liquidity then London and NYC.

I will try again harder next time, my entry was correct except I did close at BE instead of letting it test that FCR 2-3 pips down Was just a bit too cautious.

#2G+ exit occures below the fcr line not above it, (fcr line is right at 4995 and from what i see price never crossed it) regardless of your entery point.. if your late getting in.. thats your problem.. market will not care or react to your entery line, but it does belive it or not react heavly to the level lines.. the break or bounce of them means something.. thats where we make our decision to enter or...

price is retracing for what i see.. do i care? do i know for sure?

what i do? I control things at my end.. I stay with my plan.. still playing #2G+.. my sl is at 32ish area.. that will give me at worst under 10 pips loss..

Been to a wedding last night, so not being very sharp for trading atm, while the coffee kicks in i was revisiting your bits of wisdom. The way i see it this is a step by step break down of expectancy. I mean ... you've made it seem so simple

bracket ... obviously prone to fakeouts. be ready to pull the trigger.
d123 ... that could be the beginning of a bracket, once again, finger on the trigger.
fcr2 ... i remember feb saying: if you see a big bar jumping at you, get out.

the rest of it, have the patience to catch a paulie.

Fx GOLD over the weekend. Glad you dusted off and disinfected faithful #2 from the bottom of the trash. What you've given us with your MASTERCLASS is subtle context by context ways to set up, enter defend or attack. So much value in what you've done here - thank you so much Fx!

May seem like a stupid thing to say but it seems to me that the most dangerous thing you can ever do is ENTER the market. The way things develop then is key. I notice that without a plan, especially when the price just hangs around my entry point failing to achieve even +5 e.g +1 then -4, to BE to -2, I can begin to forget my plan and start fantasizing that the market really wants to do what I thought it would... then get lost in wishful thinking and get hit watching and hoping the retrace will turn in my favour OR getting out of a good trade too early and forgetting to test it again. The big addition for me has been the #2g+ coupled with the attitude of limiting losses to under -10 maximum when the price comes back without gaining anything after entry.

Your training is excellent Fx - that you spend so much time nuancing this for us says so much about you. Top stuff.

Short was taken at 5022. Hit SL at 4035. The setup did not hit the HH to show a FCR2. Is my SL placed wrongly?

Clocks went back an hour over sat/sun night - us Brits are all soooooo confused! We don't know whether to stop for lunch, have tea or get our pyjamas back on...doesn't take much to confuse and Englishman!
