yes, one of the best things about the best in their class is that they are usually the most modest.
Take a look at Roger Federer and Tiger Woods. Extremely competitive and extremely confident in their abilities, but not arrogant loudmouths. The simply get the business done.

nice and simple method,and easy to learn,done some back testing this last month and im going to trade the daily time frame let you know how it goes,see most people trade 4h, why is that,thanks for any feed back

I emailed Jacko about his membership. When I did, I asked him about why he is not posting here as much any more and he said that he is simply too busy with his trading and his training group. He is not posting on any other forums and he wrote very positive and complimentary comments about Forex Factory. His exact words were that it was the best forex forum on the internet.
Maybe he has said something different to you , but i didn't get the impression that he was not posting here as a protest against the thread being moved. I understood that he is simply too busy with mentoring and training his apprentices.
I have joined his group and am impressed with the caliber of his blog and am extremely impressed with his trading performance.
I have joined the James 16 group too and am now working my way through all the resources in there.

hi chicky,it was moved if you read between the lines you will understand why just read some of the posts ,the thread changed from being a helpful thread on jackos method which is the main way i trade,to one big marketing thread which i dont agree with.thats way its here now,certain posters only have there selfs to blame,as for jacko,im sure hes fine and still in profit,now he is going back to trading his method,he had put pressure on himself,and was turning into a signal service as people were wanting more trades,which is not the point of what he wants for his trainning,and it effected his own trading.im sure the next 3 months we will see jacko do what he does best.and thats trade,the last 3 months has only been a bump in the road.best thing i did was join his group,even though i dont use his signals,just his view on the market god bless you jacko

Thanks Garrye. At one point of time, I too considered joining his group, but later realized that I have a different mindset. Jacko's help to many new traders is really appreciable.

you have to have a big account, to trade this method,100k plus,look at it this way,if you join jackos group, he,s trading 200 plus lots so he does not need large amounts of pips,most newbies are under funded ,he can make a couple of hudred pips and hes in the money and big profits,normal newbie maybe only have 10k or less,,you are not going to get anywhere fast,thats the problem,and thats were it falls down,its worth every penny for the market view its self,everyone whos new will think wow,i only have to copy his trades,sorry thats not the case,he got me started and i think hes a great guy,and will sign up again next year,so thats saying something,and i have made more pips in the last 2 months than he has in a year,but im not doing 200 lots.great method,good guy ,its quite easy and i feel you only have to read the first few pages,and you will see everything .its so easy to back test too.at the end of the day you have to pull that trigger and keep that trade running ,thats only in side you.only the truth is what you find in my posts,take it or leave it,let the games begin,cos you know what the next few post will be having a dig.i see as i find have a great week and pips to you all god bless,from the heart

You can make a hefty return just on 200 pips per month consistantly.

Then again, depending on account size it would imply higher risk due to leverage increase.

So, focus on several markets that are trending and apply the method, instead of just e/u. IMHO.

I am with you on this. It is easy to copy his trades and make money. But I don't think that is what he is about. I didn't join his group only to copy his trades. I joined to learn and copy his system and his way of reading the market. I am one of his adventurous group and have been trading more often than him, and even on different pairs (Aud-USd)
I never wanted to be thrown a fish. I wanted to learn to fish. And then go out looking for 10 meter sharks.

I disagree - let's look at it from a % returns perspective - following his method and with a good MM strategy in place which allows for compounding ( a key ingredient for Wayne as well) the returns even for someone with a 10K capital were very nice. Thus it is a fallacy in my opinion to say the system "falls down" due to lower capital available. The more the better - but the returns on capital are there whatever is one's starting point...yes the voyage will take longer but cares in the end.

Totally agree with you

A % return is a % return. The account size is irrelevant.

If you can consistanlty bring in say.... 3%-5% or more CONSISTANTLY then its just a matter of time.

And honestly, its best to start small and grow with compounding because it will be a lot easier psychologically than to start with 100k.

Also keep adding a bit each month to your account and it will grow at a rapid pace.

Key here is % consistancy.
