Hey Strat I think that was a good trade, I dont think I would have waited for it to hit support but grabed a couple of pips.
Look at something long enough, you will eventually get it.

Hi Stratman,

I couldn't agree more. As a matter of fact, no trading system can do without S/R and trend lines.

Just a small suggestion here to improve your S/R. Draw only the obvious ones. You seem to have quite a number of S/R lines on your M15 chart. I had only the top and bottom one if seen from the M15. Too many lines makes managing a position very difficult. Only the obvious ones especially those that has gone from S to R or R to S in the near past or those that has more than one touch from PA.

Attached my chart (M15 and H4) here for your reference. I only draw S/R off the H4 and D1. In my experience, I find them more reliable than those from lower TF. Since I am already using them for higher TF trades, I also use them for M5 with THV.

The original version of THV used the Hull(Blue) and T3(Cyan)...
I think both were dropped about the time of the v2 release...anyway, neither are used in the current v4 release.

Incredible system you all have here! Thank you all for your time and sharing!
My question is, is there a version of the trix indicator that is reduced down to the lines only to made a smaller file? When I put this on my platforms it maxs out my CPU. I have tried the previous versions and it still does the same. Have any of you had this problem? Thought I had a pretty good comp til I put this system on. I have turned everything off that I can and taken most all the other tools off. Any ideas?

I need an indicator that automatically puts the round numbers (sweet spots) 00,20 50 and 80 on my charts. Maybe as a dotted line. Don't need alerts.

I have an indicator called "round number" but it only does 00.

Does this exist?

If not could someone code it please? It would be useful addition to pivots indicator.

Try reducing the number of trix bars and divergence bars

Thanks heaps for your comments. Because I understand the importance of Support and Resistance to THV, I'm trying really hard to get it sorted. I know I'm over enthusiastic with the number of lines.

This is my usual approach:

1. Draw on Daily chart, and then more accurately on H4 zoomed out heaps.

2. Each day, my broker gives a list of important prices ie long term S/R. I check my own study and add any lines from their list that I'm missing. I've been using their info for a while now and they seem pretty accurate.

3. I draw the lines from 1 & 2 (above) in a thick width to differentiate them from any others I add in the next steps.

4. I zoom out the M15 and add any shorter term S/R that I see. These lines are done thinner than the others.

5. I also use the Round Numbers indicator which is the dashed lines shown in my picture.


Attached is an example. I only had the Price Action up to the point of my vertical yellow line ie prices to the left (EDIT: my S/R lines were added at the time of the vertical yellow line ie prices to the right occurred after my S/R lines were added.). I used steps 1-5 above. The thick yellow lines are to emphasize the step 1-3 lines. The blue are my extra step 4 lines.

I've circled all the points at which the S/R held to be true. Has anyone got any constructive comments?

Yes I am correct if you open the properties you will see 3 lines that have there colour set to none, Ichimoko has the cloud of course but that is all that is used in this system.

Hi Guys
I was wondering if any one is having problems logging in their respective Mt4 accounts. Mine seems to have frozen since I went to bed last night. Running 3 demo's all frozen.

You can try deleting the MQLcache files from your MT4 folder[s]-- there's 3 of them to look for

1) MT4---> Experts

2) MT4--> Experts---> Indicators

3) MT4---> Experts----> Libraries

It's worked for me in the past--I hope it will work for you

Thanks man...problem was found..its saturday! I seem to have lost the sense of time off late completely..price bars running all inside my head. Well, i'll try to have this weekend off away from charts and trading in general.
