Wrote it myself a while ago to test MT4's random number generator. Source code is attached, in case anybody's curious.

Was going to ignore any replies for a day or so, just to see if anybody would ask whether it was an advanced neural net, or whatever....... but then had an attack of conscience. Somebody might have taken me seriously, and lost a money attempting to trade the forecast. Sadly, there's always one out there.

I was playing around with this "Logan" thingy when it dawned on me it's actually a Keltner channel. Compare the input fields of Logan with _My_Keltner (posted below). Some minor tweaking and I got the bands to look almost exactly alike.

I knew it looked familiar. I remember the site saying "join and you get a prop indi". when I threw it on the charts I thought "this looks familiar".

Afternoon all. Bank of England minutes out this morning. No new talk of extra QE gave cable a boost, broke thru key resistance this morning. Had any luck this morning Pipjunky?

Not on the pound. Few pips on the E/U today and a couple on the U/C, missed a Eur/Gbp signal. Don't seem to be "on my game" today. You?

Put a long EUR CHF position on @ 1.5100. Not technical just very close to where the SNB are likely to intervene @ about 1.5080. If they come in it usually flies which is more than I can say for what it is doing at the moment. It's like watching a snail race.

I see what you mean. In my own lingo I call that a "slow drift". Seems the market is perhaps waiting for the same as you!

Just bought some Kiwi as well. Had a nice pullback on an hourly chart. Kiwi sentiment very bullish at moment, so I'll give it a try. No more data out this afternoon though so markets could go to sleep.

What is your time frame for holding a trade for the bank you work for. Hours, days, weeks?

just curious and a little bored. U/Chf taking a nice run but the rest of the world seems to have gone to sleep.

Generally we trade intraday but we can hold positions as long as we like but in these markets trends don't seem to last too long with all the risk on risk off. To hold longer term you need very deep stops and we don't have that option, 100 pips max on a longer term deal.

Makes sense. On something like the G/U you'd need 150pip + stop on something like a 4 hr. I made myself good at the 5 mins bc I didn't like holding positions overnight. Some days great results. Some days not so much holding overnight. Now I have the attention span of a gnat!...whoa! some G/U movement again.
