i know who that person is as he pm me saying that i am desperate for ads clicks.

this is making me very sad because if he reads my articles, they are original and effort was there. hence my site is definitely not those "made for ads"

i really dont understand what have i done to deserve this. i suffered alot when i was a newbie and i know it is painful.

hence i try so hard to share to as many as possible. i even started a newbie thread at rookie to help.

all this while, i had NEVER EVER asked for a single cent.

i tried hard to contribute back to FF since FF was where all it started ..

i hope Twee will not judge me based on one person and by the cover

twee? you believe this too?

when you told me of the issues, i apologised and complied.

i even took the trouble to update you via email on what i have done.

i agree that i talk about my blog in my post but my posts ae meant for folks to understand how news may affect prices and hence are summaries of news.

as i said the reason for "promoting" my blog, is my passion to not let newbies suffer like i did and a passion to serve the ff community.

twee i implore you to consider this point ' how much can those ads earn and i dont even force anyone to click.

twee i did put the link back but each time i contacted you to find out what is wrong did you recieve it ?

i can be sure that after you advise me the first time, i took your instructions and followed but it seems like judgement was already made on me

I always shoot it to you straight. Here's what I think:

I want you to look at the positive side of this.
You are in the commercial forum with some fairly well distinguished traders.
Yes, they sell stuff and there's no shame in that.

Also, as another poster said, in time the thread may move back to interactive.

Until then, those of us familliar with you know that you mean well
and are really trying to help others and learn along the way.

Also, if you think you won't have people exposed to your work, think again...
The commercial beta houses the James16 thread and the Jacko thread and now,
The Koala Thread.

(..not an endorsement, mind you, just alot of traffic in those threads)

May not realize it now, but Twee may have just given you a promotion.

Please think of it that way... not a "tragic end" or something like such.

You can connect with plenty of people and we'll visit you here or there or where ever.
Just keep up your work and keep making progress and continue to make the effort.
It's the only way to move forward.

Trading801. I personally don't see anything wrong with your blog, and I'm just guessing here, but it probably has to do more with the graphical ads on your site rather than the text google adwords. Perhaps you can confirm that with Twee, and if need be simply eliminate the graphical ads.

yes there are ads .. but these are the usual google ads.. i use them to pay for my domain as i am not a rich person.. the maximum number of ads are more than this but i did not use.

other then that, i do not have any product .. please read my articles .. they are original .. articles i wrote after work and typing into the late hours of night. All in my mind was to prevent folks from getting margin calls.. i had 3 and that shocked me.. i also take problems and confusions i had as a newbie.. and wrote about it there.. like gold and usd what is risk aversion.. etc

compare my blog to a REAL made for ads site and you will see the difference..

i did not know why that person who ever he is complained about me.. but i meant no harm and i am hurt by that action..

but well.. i always trust Twee and i guess i have done something wrong or not the best along the way even though i tried my best in my way to help FF.. i did not sleep well last night because of this and i am very tired now..

Can you buy a blog without ads, can this change you to normal again? Also do what I told you before and open another user, I know you from a month ago or less, but I have enter your site, and didn't look at the ads, I know they are from google not from you, and the reason why you post your site is as cobra said, to help newbies like me, you help me, I feel so sorry for you now that you can't post fundamentals to help others and myself too... I hope Twee change his point of view

If it's cause of the hosting cost's that has a solution, get off all google adds and I invite you to transfer the domain to my hosting, I'm owner of a big web hosting plan and have many left this will not cost you a cent, I even pay your yearly domain.

I am sorry the management moved you over here in the Commercial area. Because your blog had some ads on it? What normal person even pays any attention to those ads anyway? OK, I know why they did it but its a shame because everyone knows that you were always a good friend and especially tried to help out the newbie traders.

I hope that they will move you back or at least let you post back in Interactive w/o links to your blog or whatever, but if they do not, I'm with Toshi - take it in stride. Every change can lead to new opportunities.

I have to say that I respectfully disagree with that decision.

Trading801 may be aggressive, he may not always be correct, but to lump him with other commercial operators is just unfair.

How can one be labeled as such when he has nothing to sell?

On my last visit to his blog, I counted 4 links and have yet to see any of them asking for any form of payment which is consistent with Trading801's claim that he is not doing this for commercial purposes.

Considering that this is right in line with the claim that ForexFactory is lenient on small commercial interests such as blog ads, I find it interesting that 4 links would be called "crowded" with advertising.

I'm certain that Trading801 would stop posting huge-font links to his blog and posting small bits of information pointing to his blog for the rest. Providing he would do that and not have a link to his blog in his signature, would you consider putting this thread back in interactive trading where it belongs?

Attribute it to a language barrier, a cultural barrier or just plain stubbornness, let's be fair, subtlety doesn't always work . So long as some ground rules are established, I'm sure this misunderstanding can be cleared up.

Trading801's dedication to the helpful community spirit of Forexfactory has been exemplary. He has been the newest of the newcomers, has had the margin calls and all the mishaps many newcomers have in Forex. In spite of all this, he has prevailed. Keeping this in mind, I firmly believe it would be beneficial for many, including myself, to let him continue for he is doing his best to help others avoid the pitfalls he has suffered through.

I certainly hope you will reconsider.

Your website is a good place but I dont understand some things.
Your website is on blogspot so I dont see any reason to have ads at all as Blogspot hosting is free.

hello thanks buddy... my domain costs $.. i thought of the domain because i want new folks to find the site easy..

but the bottom line is, google ads may give some $ every now and then but they dont hurt one bit and never never had i force anyone to click.

I do not use tricks to trick people to click. I even have a privacy policy for the ads to follow rules of google ads.. all this shows that i am not running a MADE FOR ADS site.

If my blog is 10 ads and copied content.. i rest my case.. but read my contents .. i spent my nights weekends writing them!

My best article in FF was The Story of A Margin Call Tom. I wanted to warn newbies.. tell me if there is anything commercial there

i think this commercial section is created for folks selling trading classes, EAs, scripts, coaching etc.

i have none. my blog is free and have only one aim.. to share to as many new folks as possible..

i had readers writing to me on how sad and finished they are, losing their hard earned money saved. $10k even!

that is why i told myself i must share share share.. that is why people who dont know me thought i am selling something..

when i noticed a rookie section, i immediately went there to setup a thread to help..

When Twee said me, i listened .. made adjustments.. no more big fonts etc.. updated him but still this happened. I think he is too busy to read my updates and i understand that.. i hope he will and change his mind.
