sorry to disappoint, but i don't have a Weekly Range as such, i only trade the price action as it is represented by the candlesticks on my charts...

thank you very much but i have been trading on higher time frame now and 1 hour is the lowest and honestly, having 17 pips stop loss is not enough because you need a breathing space for market to move... if not you will always be stopped out and just after hitting your s/l the price will just make a U turn and back to its original trend - to your dismay.

since you seem to be a nice person, just a can of worms for you, always do topdown approach before you trade. Start from a longer time frame when looking for all S/R lines, trends, volatility and momentum and try to calculate the week's range and down to daily range. with this you will have a clue how much pips you'll gonna be targetting and you will have a clue where the price will most likely to bounce up or down. pull out 1 hour chart and see for pattern or any signal forming for possible entry, a low risk and high probability entry... when triggered whoalla!

A/U not too impressed by that news then, which should have caused the pair to rise.?
Is this because wall streets about to open, everyone thinks its bad for the US economy, so they sell stocks and buy the dollar?

kiwi and loonie down today, assuie next , sell at .928 S&R= above the high
,I think it's a good opporunity to go short Risk/Reward wise,
I'll hedge it and get two long position if it goes above .9310

you appear to be the nice one...

Please don't let my small number of posts fool you, or the fact that i don't have a weekly range. i have paid my school fees and i've done my time, what i'm now doing is giving back some knowledge...

and yes, i do approach the market with a top-down approach, just slightly different then yours, and since this particular trade was taken off the 15min chart and not the 1hour chart, my Stop Loss is also taken off the 15min chart, i.e. very tight.

when my trades are off the 1hour chart then naturally my Stops are wider as you mentioned, i.e. not as tight as in the 15mins.

for the record, i expect a bullish to sideways price action today.

As I said, today is a short side day, I'm just a bit concern about the possibility of a bullish flag formation on AUDUSD/NZDUSD at 1/4hr chart, IMO CADUSD further move will clear the pic

as the aussie short trade wont last long, I took 20 pips profit at my 1st short and move SL to B/E (.9280) for my 2nd short , now it's a stress free trade

hi gep im a price-volume trader and as i see that the dip volume is getting weaker starting from the end of last week dont get me wrong its still their but weaker so thats a sign of the upmove lossing steam

open your eur/usd 15 minute chart set the multiple moving average and you will see shes falling
