Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said officials in the euro area take seriously the U.S. commitment to prevent the dollar from depreciating too much.

“We all note with considerable attention the statements made by American authorities as regards their support in favor of a strong dollar,” Trichet told reporters in Luxembourg late yesterday after a meeting of European finance ministers. He also echoed the Group of Seven statement that “excessive volatility and disorganized developments in the exchange market was bad for economic development.”

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Australia’s central bank said the risks of keeping borrowing costs at a 49-year low, including boosting inflation and causing economic “imbalances,” prompted policy makers to raise the benchmark rate two weeks ago.

this may up the pressure for the other banks to do so too

well remember it haven't change the date, I'm still on Monday 19, , ehehehe well it took one day more to reach .4993 but almost as I told you, I'm -4.5pips for this week, with an open long position TP .4993, I change it, cuz I had it on .4995 TP, and remember in less than an hour I will be sleeping so I will leave it open, don't want a retest and not reach .4995 and after a retrace to my SL
