I was initially bias towards the downside for GBP/JPY, but upon reexamination, I now think the downtrend for the past 1 - 2 months could have been a bearish retracement within a bullish run.

If u refer to a bigger tf (weekly), I believed market in bullish retracement only before expecting for another bearish continuation trend (maybe will test previous low). But unless market already in bullish as per u said (alt scenario) which is major B is just completed, then we may see a strong bull to complete major wave C and u may be right abt that. And boths, can only be confirm later. Happy trading.

Looks like it's going back up based on daily and weekly movements. What a see-saw...
We'll probably get a clearer pic once GBP's Nationwide HPI m/m and JPY's overnight rates come out. I kinda feel the market's waiting atm.
