Juncker: Risks further EUR gains could slow economic recovery in Europe

The German economics minister won’t agree, but the head of the finance ministers groups says the obvious; that a stronger EUR could slow the economic recovery in Europe.

EUR/USD trades at 1.4885 amid reports that the BIS is now selling EUR/USD above the 1.49 level. Bids have been seen in the 1.4870 area and again toward 1.4845/50. Stops below

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar advanced from almost a 14-month low against the euro after some investors bet that the currency’s four-day decline to that level was overstated.

The U.S. currency was headed for a second straight weekly drop versus the euro on speculation the Federal Reserve will trail other central banks in boosting interest rates. The pound was poised for its biggest weekly gains versus the euro and dollar in four months on bets the Bank of England will suspend quantitative easing.

“The rally in the dollar we see today is profit taking going into the weekend,” said Amelia Bourdeau, a currency strategist in Stamford, Connecticut, at UBS AG. “We think risk seeking will continue, although it’s getting choppy.”

Same for me, I'm at 260pips for the month, not bad, with my low SL I have seen improvement on my trading, if on september I were trading with this MM, I will saw profits, lets see how I end this month, with proper MM and trading with patience, I should end with profit, no matter if it is a small profit, a profit is a profit
