Took this double top with a tight 5 pip stop loss, looking it to run too MR2 for 36 pips, but have a SL @ 00. Any thoughts on that trade ab1..?

Well, 15 min coral is above it, plus WmR3 as well before price can reach MR2 again. It just now bounced off the WmR3 and 15 min coral.

Haha, it's all or nothing! But that WmR3 sure is being tough right now, price already bounced off it or very near pretty much 3 times now. By the way, do you usually only take profit on daily pivots? such as R1, R2, R3, S1, S2, S3? not monthly or weekly pivots?

It's really long time ago that I took only one trade during the London session, I think I was ill that day.

Analysing the charts 30 min before London open but I was coding with Caveman who helps me a lot to learn that stuff in the first hour as nothing happened.

Yes, this was a very difficult session, I had to fight with me many times not to push the trigger.

Does anybody tried the V4 on GOLD??!?


I would like to try it on demo, but I need some suggestions!


What is the best hour period of the day to trade GOLD?


Which TF is better to applicate the V4?!

Not that I personally took any of these trades ( I'm still studing choppy conditions and am not comfortable trading them yet) but I think it helps to analyze a trading day after the fact also. The only decent trades today were divergence trades, especially when the 1m f trix and the 5m fast trix lined up, and the divergence was across more than one timeframe, or the second or third in a row. I guess the trick to being a great trader is to trade the right kind of trades for the market you are in.

Good thing my baby girl kept me away from the chopping machine .... it is still chopping ......

Was telling Cobra that we should have traded USD/JPY instead. Easy pips there with THV..... but was too focus trying to catch the big move on EUR/USD. Wrong move ... hahaha ...

Was watching the London session before going to bed. I didn't take any trades

Now up again (8 am here in NZ) ... wow what a session you guys had.

BTW, please excuse me if I don't answer questions during the latter london and full US sessions. I'm not being rude ... I'm asleep

That reminds me on the german words: You can't see the wood because of too many trees.

There was so much divergence in all TFs that you didn't know at the final what to trade.

This situation was really rare and it's good idea to analyse it after fact to be prepared for another occation.

Good indicators have been Crude and Gold.

BTW: Hope that nobody got hit SL on that news spike to R3 after London close.

All my trades today have been great. I didn't loose any precious pips. I hope tomorrow would be the same. I am sticking to the rules so far.
I have been lurking for quite long time. I started with the original template. I upgrade two more times. I have been on an off, and today, finally I can say it was a day I can be proud of. I had a total of 11 trades all positive for a total of 380 pips. It sounds too good to be true? In a way yes, it is a pratice account. However experience is worthless.

Had a pretty bad day today, -131 pips, some bad trades early in NY session and later on as well; bad Wi-Fi connection had to do with some of the losses Luckily I'm still demo-ing but my goal is to get consistent so I can go live when 2010 comes

Attached are the two TzPivot Indicators.

TzPivotsMW_v2 has the errant pivots fixed. Thanks to grant18265 for pointing that error out! Also, label font style can be typed in for wider font choices. Arial, Arial Bold and Verdana Bold are recommended with font sizes 8-12.

TzPivotsD_v2 has additional coding of the Scroll Compensator. Leave the default "0" alone and code will try to "fit" an appropriate number based on the bars per chart. This is affected by the "zoom" the user has on the chart, and also by the size of the monitor....it is a tough thing to try to automate. If there are problems, leave the Scroll Compensator off when not in use. When on, any value > zero input for the Scroll_Left_Adjustment will override hard coded values.....use"1" may be best. But turn off Scroll Compensator when not in use, as the value "1" will immediately force all pivot lines to become full screen lines. By default, the Scroll Compensator is on, with a Scroll_Left_Adjusment of "0", which allows the hard coded values to function.

Both indys, thanks to Domas4, have additional price label coding to allow the indys to be used beyond forex......gold, oil, stocks, etc.
