Thanks everyone for explanation of my problem... Even, it was not very big one, cos I used to use UP fract for sell, exactly like was said (sorry for my english, I am Slovakian)..
Just in this thread I suddenly saw that UP fractal is for BUY, but only for UPTREND... and vice-versa.. I am a newbie in techncal analysis, thats my confiusions.
ICHI is great stuff an d now I am still learnig this indicator, using this thread a lot...

Looks like Gbp/Usd is testing 1h and 4h kumo top; a divergence candle has already formed 4 hours ago and a new high is now forming which will a divergence candle for a short entry to the 4h 1.5720 area target.

i think i have a different look to the GBPUSD , if we broke the 4Hrs cloud we will go at least till the Ks daily , the first sign will be the 1hr closing above the kumo , then i might look for an entry

Maybe stupid question but:
Is DIV CANDLE a candle that a fractal is formed above it only?

we use sinners- definition for Divergence candle; after 5 candles in a row lower than a candle making a new high, that's a divergence candle. Opposite for a low.

Fractal is a candle making a new high with 2 candles to both its right and left lower. Opposite for a low.

Vic: Is Gu thin 1h and 4h kumo the biggest clue that price might be more likely to break thru than bounce back down? Also, I now see 1h Senkou Span A is above B. We've had a neutral 1h ts/ks cross up. Finally 1h chikou span is above price.

What do you see?

i was just waiting for a close above the 4Hrs cloud, if there is no one will be looking for a short entry , i think the 1hr is forming a Div candle at the moment , it might be the shirt signal we need ,

I, for one, am enjoying the lively discussion following the introduction of fractals and Div candles.

I could well be wrong, but I thought fractals repainted. If so, this ordinarily minimizes their usefulness.

At any rate, where can I find the MT4 file for the fractals being posted on our Ichi charts?

I did look in Sinner's Div Bar forum, but I do not see a fractal download. My mistake, I'm sure.

Thanks for routing me in the right direction. I've seen enough on our forum to think I need to take another look at fractals.

Here is an Example of a Bear Div Candle...
For a Bull Div Candle Just flip everything...very simple...

Remember it is not valid until the candle CLOSES

Welcome!
Fractals don't repaint. However, after a fractal appears its not valid until 2 candles latter. If price breaks above the fractal point then the indicator disappears.

Fractals are a standard indy included with MT4; go to insert, indicators, Bill Williams, fractals.

How are people using fractals to add to entries?
Do you use the actual fractal, which is painted arbitrarily around 15 pips above/below the candle or do you use the actual candle high/low?

I"m going to follow Vic; He doesn't have fractals on his chart...you don't need the indy to spot them though; the Divergence candle seems to be his choice now and its mine too till I can make this my own.

i think we are few pips away from a break to the 4Hr Kumo , the 1Hr is very encouraging i think we might get a signal during Tokyo , i hop i can catch it

what do you think ??

Are you looking for long on GU ? Both D1 & H4 show bearish cross of TS/KS and price are below the kumo, CS is below the price curve. Only H1 show a bullish crossed with price above the kumo and CS above the price curve. So if take the trade based on H1, isnt this against the higher TF, H4 7 d1 ?

Glad you said hi. The setting difference is minor; though I have hardly ventured to look into 9,26,52 but briefly. As long as your ichimoku covers a short, medium, and long time period, it is useful.

we still trend follower and we still using the same Ichimoku rules , but we will not be only waiting for the cross we will be waiting for the resume and will jump with the trend

The 4h is rangebound. All is very equal and balanced. This could mean any direction can break. Or something big will break.
