Yes Thierry, this is a Bullish Divergence Bar.

But you don't use these Bar for nothing.

I'm not into these trade, but take a look on the picture below, step by step:

First of all, look the trend, its clear bearish, Kumo sentiment and future are in red; price is below kumo and chikou span below price curve. After that we only looking for a SHORT.

Ok, now we've:

Point 1: Bearish DV;
Point 2: Entry at open: 1.0528 (1 lot);
Point 3: New Entry - Break Down Fractal at 1.0510 (0.5 lot)
Point 4: New Down Fractal.
Point 5: New Up Fractal - Move our SL at this level
Point 6: New Entry - Break of Fractal point 4 - 1.0418 (0.5 lot)
Point 7: New Up Fractal - Move again the SL at this level.
Point 8: New Up Fractal - Move SL
Point 9: Exit all Position for SL 1.0351


Summary:

Position I: 177 pips.-
Position II: 159 (* 0,5) = 79.5 pips
Position III: 67 (*0,5) = 67 pips.
Total: 323,5 pips

Yes i agree with you in following the trend, this is why i love Ichimoku , it clearly shows you the trend , but following the trend on a plain chart is very hard we need at least a single visual line to show us what is going on, am not telling that you have a special power but i can say that you have the enough experience to figure out what is going on simply from the PA, the indicators do the same they all are build on the PA, what we traders need to do is understand and feel how the indicator react to the PA and after some experience we will be able to figure out what signal we will get simply by looking at a plain chart.
i used to trade using only the 55EMA and it was great, showing the trend very simple , price above 55EMA uptrend below it is a down trend, used to enter with a close above or below the 55EMA, but what if i missed the entry is this means i have lost this trend!!!, No simply using a signal that shows when the trend is resuming I’ll be able to jump again and a again till this trend is over, i think that the Divergence candle is the best to show where we might resume the trend again, it is the same concept as the Ts+Ks cross, 55EMA+100EMA cross, etc…., trend is resuming you can jump now .
the S/R game is the most profitable game in this market but if we don't know how to play it safe we better stay aside cause it will very easy wipe out any account .

Talking PA I’ll show you how the indicators react to it
This is how I see the GBP USD chart
-major support @ 139.9x, confirmed by to strong Divergence candle
-1st level of resistance @ 143.2x which is the 55EMA
-2nd R @144.2x level which is the 100 EMA
All these EMAs are calculated using the history of the price action; the places where the price made S/R levels in the past are the current EMAs .
Anyone can see the same on a plain chart; it is just a matter of experience.

I haven't try it on 30 mins , but it is great on 4hrs , also if you are following a signal from 4hrs this will be very helpful, as usual try not to isolate yourself from the big picture

Obviously the signal is stronger there.

Even without the candle and fractal, the CSTLB is a re-sell signal to me from the earlier cross. However, the Asian session usually retraces somewhat...

i am talking about the next candle in ur chart , check again my chart u'll see it made a lower low than the previous 5 and closed in the green

Vic, I don't know what chart are you looking at but I checked on a few and none of them look like yours. Take a look at the candle that you highlighted as a divergence. On my chart there is no divergence.

The same thing for me antonioforex, my candle is green but without lower low.
It is the problem with all these brokers and their different price.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the BW Chaos trading system. It is a great method to re-enter trades.

I have been reading the Chaos theory by Profitunity (posted by Sinner on the other thread) Based on their definition of Bearish Divergent, the USD/JPY Daily chart will be bearish if USD/JPY remains at current price.

Please confirm if I am reading this correctly. Thanks.

Good MAE traders. I am loving the U/J yesterday and feel my love will continue today, I even spoke to vic yesterday about trading U/J full time.

Starting my day off with a short from 89.769 on tight stops.

kharvell, on your issue about "why does everyone need a signal" well, my main issue and obsession when it comes to trading is expectancy. I do not simply want to re-enter the trend on an almost arbitrary flat line and hope the price goes up. I would like to re-enter on the confirmation of the current wave: i.e. break of fractal. Lots of the newbies here have enough trouble, we are trying to increase the profit probability of their (AND OURS!) trades!

I will write more at the end of Tokyo.

Was Tokyo open one big setup by the Japanese Ichi traders to create this setup?

PA just broke hard through the daily open at 132.689.

Exactly why I havn't jumped in. Too many platforms, to many brokers, too may feeds, all different. We're all playing in the same game of poker, but we all have our own deck of cards. Your deal, .

EDIT: I'm not putting down the system its just studying PA with others is hard when we are not all on the same page.

This is a problem, but let's face it, on those ambiguous candles you can ignore the signal if you like! Really bullish or bearish divergent candles will appear similar regardless of the broker.
