Hi Blue, I have no bais right now, on one hand the pattern seems bullish so far/ on the other hand I dont like to go long from current level , will be waiting & watching, I think for now I play short EURUSD, this one is unforgiving when you short it at a wrong time,

look at usd yen chart on 4 hourly cahrt, what you see is bull make the move and for aud/jpy support at 80.00!

now as the aud/yen up and aud/usd down, the value of the yen has to go up.

should you bet on usd/yen long to stop the bleeding in aud/yen short? just incase

aud/yen : aud/usd = usd/yen

for bored people like me , EURGBP made a classic Ascending Traingle at 4hr / a terminal thrust will go up 100-150 pips if it breaks,

i dont know but i think today wont be a better close for the AUD/usd ,, i see it breaking from a rising trend line and its forming a penate now ,,, this could bt a signal for a break dwon to 90 level or lower

out of context, but looking at GBPUSD/ GBPJPY /EURGBP, seems the GBP is about to have a nice fall , all pairs have the same C.pattern. will see how this one affects AUDUSD

I cant get a reversal pattern on $index for now, seems bearish so far, may be a double bottom but I dont go for it

hi puks, i am in this short battle since 3rd Sep as you know and i dont wanna give up until i make some decent profit ...

i still think AUD/USD was oversold but i do beleive its bullish for atleast next 6 - 12 months (Stevens promised 1.75% interrstet rate increase in next 12 months) but there's always a bearish in between bullish and this is exactly what i am waiting for ...

like fammira said and i agree with him that it should drop back to 84-85 (but i beleive 87 - 88) before it starts moving back up again ...

i will be TP at 8780 and then hopefully i am gonna join the long team ...

thanks ben10 shahab for the feedback i really appresiats your views as you see that its holdind just under the 76.60 which is a strong resistant and further 77.42 so lets wait and see for now it does not look like it has the strenght to penatrets these levels but cant bet on it right now

negtive comments just came out from austrialian treasury secrety about future outlook and that the country will operate under capsity for some time after the ware off of stimulus and that unemployment will rise

another example of how the market creates one sentiment, rides it and go against it when the ride is done

AUD will go down more today and drop not far from 88 tomorrow

as I said in one of my last posts equities are now pricing a very strong recovery, next week many US companies release earnings, and even if positive tones should prevail, a "sell the news" pullback is to expect

also, I expect gold to slowly pullback around 1000$ in these days where it could find some decent chinese bids

This is exactly correct, the stimulus when withdrawn should have a marked effect on the Australian economy(negative) as purchases of capital equipment i.e vehicles/ etc have been brought forward due to 50% taxaxtion credit for small business, the key will be if USDX can break out of downside currently 97% of investors are bearish on the USD, and correction /resumption of bear market in the USA.

Other interesting facts are that the AUD is still within a rising wedge pattern(monthly chart), which is usually bearish.

I suppose all will be revealed in very soon.

hi all,

Can you please advise what would be the best time-frame to trade using charts?

I look for MACD, RSI and SAR on 5,10 & 15 mins but noticed that out of those 3, 15 minute time-frame is usually more accurate.

Can you all please shed some light on this topic?
