Golfer bro

this is a simple way to show you the entry if you are working S/R and you will be using Ichi lines as your entry , this nothing more than another eye on a respectable Indicator like the Candle Divergence it is the same as the Japanese Candle concept , look see the GBP USD example in here

- Green box is a Divergence signal
- Flat Kumo expected to attract the price
Long Entry with a stop just a few pips below the Divergence candle low and set your target 10 pips below the Flat Kumo line

- Blue box Fractal Signal
-Pull Back towards the flat Kumo is supposed to be over and the price might follow the daily trend again

Short entry with a stop above the Flat Kumo line 10 pips and target is the same low we were long in

tell me what do you think i am ready to discuss this further

Hello Guys

i need you all to check the PDF file i posted today , also the examples provided after it and we can discuss this further, i really see a very promising system in here , and we still using our Ichimoku, we just need to fine tune our entries and even our way of thinking about the market.

very well stated...but a pin bar is a pin bar and I challenge everyone that you will react faster to a pin bar than wait for a fractal to appear.

IMHO,
i will not wait for the fractal , actually i'll be using the Divergence and the fractal will be the 2nd confirmation to relief me , but in case that Ichimoku is showing a good S/R levels i can go with the fractal without a Div as long as the trade is in the direction of the main trend,
i was never going to think of long entry below the 4hrs Cloud , you know this and everyone in here know this , by using the Div i can play what the market is doing at the moment and also i can know what are my limits using Ichimoku
what do you think about it now ??!!
do you need me to show you more examples ??!!

IMHO,
By definition of a fractal, of course you will wait longer because a pin bar only takes one bar to form but a fractal takes five bars to form.

The reason vic is showing you guys this is because of me, I asked him to look into Bill Williams stuff with me. Let me try and give you an example and you might see why vic is showing you this stuff:

Pull up any pair with an Ichi template and daily chart.

How many signals do you see over the last 12 months? 1 or 2 on the down crash wave and another 1 or 2 on the way back up? The problem with Ichimoku on the longer TF is of course, there is only 1 signal, generally at the beginnings of a market "wave" and if you missed it you missed it. Worst bit is, even if you got in, you might only get 1 or 2 addon signals.

Adding fractals to the system allows you to addon to the original signal as long as the market wave continues. It also allows you to correctly enter with the trend at many more points, without having to wait for a proper signal which will probably never come (remember, we are talking about higher TF here).

i really encourage all the people around us to read the Bill Williams Chaos theory , guys this man is great he will open your mind to a new concept of trading, you will not change your system you will change the way of thinking trades .

let me show you another example

it is the USDJPY at the moment

1 hr Divergence candle

4Hrs flat Kumo is the resistance level we are facing now

Daily close above Ts and Flat Ks might attract the price

long entry with the 1Hr Div Candle will be @ 89.73 with SL below the same candle + some buffer, we can use Ts 1hr as our stop, we are Ichi tarders and we can use Ichi at any time

Targets will be the next Flat Kumos on 4Hr till the Ks daily

what do you think guys ??!!!

Hi vic, I think you are mixing up your divergent candles. Remember this definition:

Bull divergent candle go lower than previous bar but finish in upper half of bar.
Bear divergent candle go higher than previous bar but finish in lower half of bar.

But you could have gone long from that buy fractal a few bars to the left and a few pips higher anyway (I actually am long from that buy fractal).

Guys, ignore that last post by me, vic has clarified he is not using the BW divergent candle definition, he is using my own one as posted in the Daily Divergent Candles thread.

For now I better stick to page 1 method till I understand Vic's use of divergence candle better.

I do well trading the chaos method of Bill Williams using divergence candles which have been well defined for years; I consider Sinner's revision to it helpful and will study it more.

vic: your kindness is so much appreciated. I'm just a slow learner. Tomorrow I'll have time to figure out the simplicity of it.

Part of my problem is changing methods. I'm so guilty of jumping from method to method that I felt negative about this change at first. But I think it will be easy.

BTW I feel I missed alot of trades when you aren't here. Glad you are back!
