Hello People!

I just found this nice indicator for Ninja and thought others may be interested in it. Looks like it could be a really nice tool!

I am just fumbling around with it for the first time but, will post anything of possible interest and benefit here. Maybe others can do the same if they are so inclined.

Brent

Here is the link to the indicator. You may need to sign in to the NT Support Forum to download it, I'm not sure. It's in the indicator section of the forum and titled: RealTime Level II/Tick Vol 1.5. After you download it you'll find it in your indicators as: jtRealStats

http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...N&pp=15&page=9

Also, I hope that if you're new to NT and just trying to download it and set it up that you (please) don't ask me how. Just do what I did and work you're way though it with the help available at the support forum that they provide. It's really good...and yes NT is free. Thanks for understanding! I want to start this thread to discuss the indicator and its application - not NT.

Yeah, I'm really not sure if that link will get you to the indicator.

I'll attach it and a shot of the info about it.

I found this site which appears to be the Blog of the indicator's developer:

His name sure sounds familiar. Maybe a FF member?

i may be wrong but this volume is only indicative of the broker , correct? only their volume ...as forex is not centralized and unless you are using a very large broker then perhaps it might give better volume indication than smaller brokers;however, i'm not sure how much trust i would put even if being able to know my brokers volume at any given time since it does not represent overall market volume of all. how is it working out for you? which feed are you using with NinjaTrader?

I mostly started the thread so that people could have access to it and use it if they wanted to. Yes, of course it's only displaying the "L2" for the feed you plug into it. Pretty good job by the guy that made it. I use it on MBT feed - interesting stuff. Better than trying to make something out of a flurry of scrolling numbers. Once you throw it up on the charts for a while and see the depth (how valid or transparent it is - who knows?) you don't need to always have it on...you'll get the idea of what it's showing. Ninja and the "indicator" are both free for anyone to check it out for themselves. Why not?
All the friggin' time that I wasted on useless lagging crap indicators. At least this is looking in the direction I want to be going.

Thanks for the feedback on the indicator. I have moved my blog and reorganized a bit. You can always find the latest versions of the stuff I develop there.

hey FXsurfer, you might want to look at lubo's thread as well as he is using marketprofile and high volume pp, maybe its something that can be incorporated into this. Also are you the same fxsurfer from linuxtrolls site?
