breakout setup is possible, yes. usually, we look for a breakout & then a retest with confirming PA setup (example, a PB or BUOB to go long).

Welcome to the thread Nos

I will help ya out ;P

BUOB = Bullish Outside Bar (bar that totally engulfs previous bar that is it has a lower low then previous bar and a higher higher then previous bar. We want the close to be near the upper portion of the bar(top 1/4).
BEOB = Bearish Outside Bar

I took the following trade on demo (still training) and I would like to hear an opinion.

This is GBPUSD and it was triggered in H4. I thought it was a valid setup: trend up, a bit of retrace, tested my weekly pivot and coral.
Meanwhile, another PB formed in D1 but we could have a double top soon.
In W1 (last pic) we have an inside bar and we are breaking it high.

My question is: Is this analysis correct? What to expect from this trade? (just asking some opinions and I know that they depend on the trading style).

Just one example below I could not resist to take, even though I said to my wife: that's enough for this week..

Pull back to solid (imo) ppz with 61fib confl. with a tiny stop..
I took it in the morning and had to leave for few hours. Just closed this as we're approaching daily ppz.
It feels almost like you're given a free lunch on a golden platter..
Believe it or not, few guys I know shorted, right when we would've gone long. We're not created equal, and that's a bonus...lol

i try to teach things that i have learned over the years that new people can have at least a prayer at staying above water for the first year.

my wife is scared to death some crazy person is going to lose all there money and come after me and/or our family. think about it. i think in todays world she has a point.

i dont need the money so why am i doing this?

ego, i enjoy helping people, its fun etc etc. take your pick.

anybody that does what i do and is actually financially succesfull is a damn fool if they put there family in that situation. would you agree?

thats just my opinion but its important to my wife and thats enough for me.

sorry to get off topic but i wanted to touch on that if anyone has ever wondered.

There was a few good opportunities like that as I went to bed.

Price will close above previous bars high as a 2-week PB.
Right now it is sitting on weekly ppz, but if it breaks, we'll probably go to 135.
That's if fiber and dj can behave in reasonable manner next week..

Watch Jims video guys again and again, and you won't believe your eyes.
They might just add 5th dimension to your trading..

they are based to a LARGE DEGREE ON THE BASICS OF WHAT I TEACH YOU GUYS BUT THEY ARE ALSO BASED ON 25 YEARS OF WATCHING PRICE AND CHARTS AND "KNOWING" WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT.

(oops sorry i hit the caps button)

i cant teach that "knowing" part.

that comes from playing the game for decades.

Exactly. I've figured out it's not worth hanging around much after the early London/NY cross over. You learn that quick when you're hanging around your screen into the early hours of Saturday. lol
