Somebody please stop me from pulling the trigger on this one.

Looking to short aud/usd at 9030. 786 retrace on the big move on the daily charts. daily r3. 8580-8860 wave 161.8 extention. upper trendline on the 4hr chart. gravity defying price movement, parabolic. couple of fomc guys are talking about raising US rates sooner rather than later.

gonna move the market by going short 0.1 lots. done it before. no reason i can't do it agian.

Well I'm once again short AUD/USD .8994 for 2 lots, we will see I may add if it hits 9050, stop is 9104. Only thing that gets me is I can't see any resistance between my position and my stop

If you want to be stopped then don't draw a fib line from the 08 highs to lows wave with the 0.786 level line.

woow, my stops have been hit with no pain, I just went short again at 0,9016, hedging in case of new highs, but this time I think is the right one.

Probably we just saw a short term top

Hi Fammira, you said hedging, you mean you have a long at current level, so what's the plan? if the markets go down when do you get rid of your long, or you will hold it? (I think no harm of holding Aussie long now with futher rate hike on the card)

you will but probably have to wait till next month

use hedging, it makes a lot of sense in these cases

hi, I am short at 0,9016

at the moment I still don't trust to put an hegde order too close, cause false break and new highs often happen, I am sitting and watching and probably will add more shorts in case of new highs before considering to hedge to a long position at 0,9050 - 60 in case we see those levels

then generally speaking if high or low are not cutted after 30 minutes - 1 hour, it makes sense to go short (or long), then put another shot slightly higher (or lower) in case of false break

and then again, put an hedge order in the opposite direction 25 - 30 pips above/below our medium entry point

I forgot to say that the 2nd shot should be bigger than the 1st in order to mediate the price at higher/lower level

so now I have another short order (double size) at 0,9025

in case it's hit medium price will then be 0,9022

I will hedge to long if the pair goes above 0,9050

of course I might take a top at 0,9050, but this is forex, 0% risk is impossible, minimize the risk is yet good practice

btw, don't tell anyone, is a secret, AUD goes down from here
