Some believe triangle break results in big moves. It can break on either side. It is not broken until broken.

This is a 15 Minute chart

ps. Technically it should be called a uni-angle or mono-angle, I don't know. I am just a thief.

Some people believe that a retrace of more or less 50% may occur after a major move.From the following chart it can be inferred that 1.4700 support is holding and therefore major obstacle in the way of a decent retrace.

This is an hourly chart, few minutes before Tokyo (Asia) open.

Thanks for the thread Chicky....I sincerely hope this is well patronised without the off topic noise of the other thread.

Now, looking at my daily chart you can see that my nice rounded top that I spoke of in the other thread didn't bear any fruit, and is now dead. The top and bottom trendlines are just that. The second line up from the bottom line is a 50% line, and the second line from the top is a 25% line. I am very interested to see whether the PA can can stay in between the top two lines or not. I did have doubts about this PA reaching 1.5xxx, but now I'm warming to the possibility.

At the moment I am out, but we shall revisit later to see if there is a trade for me or not. If not, might have to wait until next week 'cos I'll be away on Thursday & Friday.

Hi Chicky,
I don't post very much but will try to add when I can.

I prefer to rely on my own s&r lines and the occasional trend line rather than indicators. My daily chart shows the main levels I'm looking at and the hourly refines it further. I trade from the 5 min chart and am currently short from 47188 looking for a quickish 30.

Hi mm,

This is the way to do it.

If my analysis is different from others, it is most probable that I am on sidelines when they are making pips. Similarly if market is going in my way, maybe others are at the sidelines waiting for their turn. Therefore no one is right or wrong all the times.

Not following one's own rules and not been able to sit on sidelines is what that costs.

Agree totally......as for my trade I bailed at 4701. Wasn't prepared to trust it and am eagerly looking for the next.

Real, I liked these "angular fibs". Is this something you came up with or a tool that is widely in use?

Ps. I am not a very technical person (therefore please don't laugh if I am wrong) but seems something like Stochastic oscilator. Maybe very useful for JPY crosses and major.
