I agree on a moderate retracement down to the daily and Fibonacci pivots.

But we still do not know if the rate decision comments are hawkish, so be aware of a limited downtrend, if at all...

Should keep an eye on the dollar index behaviour in the coming hours or watch the USDYEN ...

At the moment I am writing there is a retracement of about 5-7 pips compared with 15 min ago...

My targets were missed last Friday by about 12 pips, so I am still net Short with original targets still at 85.55. Recent price action leads me to believe a short term top is in place at 88.58, but for how long that holds is anyone's guess. Generally, I think current price action is consolidative but Gold is certainly pumping and I am wary of that. We could see higher highs, but I am personally happy to continue to remain Short on the AUD and I have been this way for weeks now. I have a longer term trade plan, so I am relaxed about the seemingly upward creep at the moment. I have attached my 4hr and Daily Aussie charts together with a Gold Daily.
