Based on Fundies and USD weakness, am counting EU to test 1.49 area this week. But I could be wrong for sure .. just be careful to short this pair .. imo.

Price just hit the low of the weekend quotes, (taking into account spreads etc). I know everyone here scoffs at them, but they provide a brilliant clue where we might go during the Asian session.

We could bounce back up here.

funny you should say that, this is EXACTLY what ive been trying to do the last couple of weeks. it worked to some extent, until this damn thing shot up after nfp lol

only problem with that is if im doing intraday for say 50 pips then adding positions isnt really an option. adding like that is for swing traders not intraday.

unless i am malc? i want to be malc, then i can pick top and bottom intraday within 2 pips, thats the goal lol

gj did yeah, but UJ went even further to 89.20 !! 60 pips down. weekend prices only got to 89.40.

retrace back to near where NY closed is to be expected to close the gap, but im more convinced after that that we going down not up . need to go to bed now so will have to hope i wake up to nice surprise in the morning.

test of support was just a hunch ...142

right now price is stuck on upper value area friday 142.27

If i could i would... Living in the EST timezone, so i am either sleeping or either working when markets are active. But i don't complaint anymore. I am trading the 4hrs-daily charts and i am still meeting my goals... I analyze trends on the week end and wait for fibs bounce to take positions during Asian session. Usually last from 1 to 10 days. I love to take a position, cover my risk at break even after 100 pips and let it run for the wild ride untill 4 hr indic say it's enough. I even have a mechanical stop so if indicator reverse while i am away it close the trade. I can get stop for 50 pips or make 300-1000 pips then i am really satisfied...

I am long on USD/JPY at 99.42 and GBP/JPY at 142.48 for Gap close at lease and then see where she leads us....

there is no gap

only mt4 platforms that open 3 hrs later than any other platform have gap

mt4 users always talk about gaps .. when there are none

My platform has gaps on other pairs. But there is no G/J gap on todays open.

Interesting, I use GFT 360... and there is a gap on most pairs today...

I won't even bother posting any daily charts. It sure looks bullish, but I am in "show me" mode. Looks and feels like a bull trap. I don't think it is going any higher than 144.50 (if the pinbar even breaks for that matter). The action in the pound and yen on Friday could have been short covering . . . you know short covering begets short covering . . .

We'll see . . . great analysis as always Mal, Direct -Trade, Scrat, Uky, Orion, etc.

Candle forming above 4h Gann Hilo, maybe another test of 144 and possible break out to 146 (test UTL)

Agree, GJ close DPP and if close above H4 Gann, 146.13 will be nice target. Testing UTL
