Statman,

Seems you have experience running MT4 inside Linux as virtual machine. I have been thinking of doing, but cannot seem to find answer to question - can you still use multiple monitors, when running inside Linux.

Would like to use Linux, know it can run MT4 as virtual machine of Windows, but only multiple monitor question remains. Would like your imput. Thanks.

Hey all of You gotta question and problem. Namely I'd like to delete the box that shows when I put trix indi. This is the box on right, on chart where in template we've got mini charts indi. I like this but I want to have one chart free of it, only with trix, that I put there manually. Best regards

3 GB RAM is enough. Vista cannot use more than 3.2GB RAM. Then you should check some other things. Run a scan with CCleaner.

Hi!

When I use the THV3 T3 Indicator...the default color for print is aqua. When I change it to another color, it does change appropriately. However, if I change time frames or close MT4 and reopen, it reverts back to aqua. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? Being new, maybe I am not setting something correctly? MT4 is build 225 running XP Home sp2.

With regard to the upcoming MT5, will THV be recoded for compatibility?

Is the manual for Version 3 and 4 the same?

Also is there any indicators for Version 4? or do you just use the .exe file to install everything?

I have a question regarding the new version 4. It all works and looks great on my Vista 32 system. My question is about the change of color of the main chart display. Sometimes it takes on a red tone and sometimes it changes to different tones of gray? I didn't see that in version 3. I assumed that when the entire chart area takes a red cast it would signal a bearish change but alas, it does not seem to be so.

Could someone advise what these color changes in the main chart area of v4 mean? They must be signaling some type of change in the chart but I have no idea what?

A change of the chart color in 5M and simultaniously in 1M means that basic THV rules are met and you can think about taking a trade in case that you have other good reasons that support this signal.

For scalp signals the option Coral_next_TF should be set to wrong in the 5M chart.

If you don't want the signals set Scalp_mode to false.

If I have enough time during the weekend I'll collect all questions made regarding V4 and save them as a Question & Answer document which will be an additional support to the V3 manual which is the current one.

All functions which where added to the previous V3 version will be explained there.

I'm learning to code and it's my masterpiece if it gets ready one day.

I may or not publish this indi because if many folks already have a slow MT4 with V4 it's absolutely sure that they will throw the PC out of the window if they load the V4 Meter.

Here's my friend the seahorse again. I like him because he's easy to recognize, and because if you don't like trading around big news times he still gives you a few good 10 pip trades off his long nose.
This is what I think is the psychology behind this that makes it work:
The tail is formed where some big surprise or announcment causes the market to sharply reverse.
PA goes up just about vertically until people realize things have gotten out of hand and then there is a sharp
correction with a divergence - forming the 'head' of the seahorse.
The long nose is caused by the patient buyers who were waiting for that retrace to at least the 38 fib, picking off lots, waiting for price to fall, picking of some more lots, waiting for price to fall, picking off some more lots etc..

The first two trades are hidden divergence trades, by the way.

That depends on how reliable the indication will be when ready and if it's a good additional tool, if not it helped me to understand the coding logic.
