the worst circumstances for our "system" is a range that widens with each swing. its just plain yuck

Hi elizo,

That FCR was in the peak of the price, I thought it was better to wait for a valley (in this case an 123 setup) to open a short trade.

why?
short trade was a countinuation signal, right? not the ones i prefer.. But i took it with extra coution.. the reason i took was to make sure i would not miss on the london sessions first ride if it was meant to go short.. and second reason it was only 5 pips away from my orginal short entery.. so i was not cheating myself out of toomuch pips left on the table..

its all commensense and feel/confidence/beeing there and done that toomany times.. that you will eventually creat for yourself with screen time devotion and many many practise trades.. if you do it all in one timeframe.. one currecny.. one method (plan)..

now ask if they can put this in a manual and make you a winner..

Reading an earlier post of yours fx, you wouldn't be looking at a smaller time frame by chance for your early exit for your advanced rules?....maybe another silly question..friday nights always involves a few beers.

absolutley correct ben spot on.. thats why early recongition on this circumstances are vital and must play your #2 very aggresively and forget the hope and wish.. be a total attitude and act quick.. give it no mercy as he is not giveing you..
the circumstances can't get any worst than this boys..

ahhhaaaaaa.. that how i can tell a guy is working hard.. and is serious.. well done and a great question..

I have in the past and i have mentionded in the middel parts of the thread that i look at 1m charts..
but HR not anymore.. that was just a week experiment for me..
5m timeframe is the one and only charts i look.. no higher no lower.. don't need to.. I see everything that i need to see based on what we do here in this lil 5m chart..

I've even kept it a little bit more to see if it could break strongly its HH, but finally I bailed out @ BE.....
Anyway, no gain, no loss on this one ....

now take you sl at BE.. sit back and enjoy.. soon enough all your little losses are wiped and + with one big ass trade..

the power of hindsight decieve..
your probably saying:
shit man, i should have left my long trade from 4551 and now at worst i could have been at breakeven and chance to even gain some..!!!

and i say to you: ya right !!!!

should've.. could've.. after the fact bullshit.. lol

I am out for lunch be back in 30 min.. letting this one run.. got nothing to lose..

Well hole in roof fixed.... walked in to see current PA.... so based on what I have seen and the double top.... I am looking short.

OK .... I can hair it now.... what signal.

This is about feel and PA... this is not a system but a matholigy.. which means bend the rule and go with gut feel... after all this is all we have.

Rules are for beginners that feel that they must do this or that.... screen time is feel... I have heard that 5000 hrs are required.. I think I spent that on indicators alone.

We know that trading this matholigy that you have about 50% hit rate for breaks... so that means that 50% fail... I need to say no more... double top are one place you should think wisely about taking the reverse...

Might get beaten for this comment but being that there are no rules to PA trading, only guide lines I thought I would post this.

Im sorry if I am out of line.

short 555 as risk reward is huge.

Failure of highs is the reason for my short... PA does not have to break a FCR .... just a falure to break the high will do for me.

Failure of high...

PA is long and the we have a new high.... next run fails to break the previous high.... we should be alert for such an event as it is a great entry against the trend.. (scary yes) but worth perfecting..

ok this one turned a bit ugly, probably gave it too much breathing room & exited at 4551 for +6 pips, should of gained more but it is a learning experience...
