OK guys just to let you know, I live and work in China and we have a week off for their 60th celebration and they also have a mooncake festival. I may not get up early enough to post every morning. When it is 8pm EST USA it is 8 am here, so you will have to forgive me if I sleep in until 10 some mornings. Sorry.

Hi Bob,

Just would like to share with everyone that after applying this trading strategy for a week, my experience has been very positive and it has been correct in predicting the future direction of almost every pair I have traded, very likely to be around the 80-85% mark that Bob mentioned in one of this earlier posts in this thread.

I'm very happy with the results of this week's trading using Bob's 4H trading system. It did go into pretty deep drawdown several times, many hundred pips deep which made me sweat a little, but because I have developed confidence (faith??) in Bob's system, I just hanged on, and the price turned back in my/our favour in the end allowing us to close with a profit (:

I've closed most of my trades for a profit, some for a small manageable loss.
Currently my open trades are:
AUDCAD, AUDCHF, CHFJPY, EURAUD, EURCAD, EURJPY, GBPCHF, USDCAD, USDCHF

Of these, the only ones I am watching very closely are:
AUDCHF, EURAUD, EURCAD, USDCAD

This is because the white stoch is already (almost) at the other end. I'm most worried about EURCAD and USDCAD as I have a couple of trades open for those pairs, that are in significant negative figures at the moment..

Thanks again Bob for your system. I am hoping to get as good as you eventually with more practice.

Thanks for the report. Because the Pound is in such trouble right now I have quit trading the gbp/chf. It will trend terribly if the pound or chf are in trouble. However, it is a great currency to trade when they are not. SO I am putting it on the shelf right now. The only GBP currencies I am going to do is the gbp/usd and gbp/jpy. Both the usd and jpy are strong enough currencies to force a retracement. Eventhough the eurgbp doesnt go far, it is such a slow moving currency it seems like it takes weeks at times to finish a trade. Even though the DD may seem large at times if you play with small enough lots or enough funds and margin, I stay out of trouble. That has always been my biggest fault, always trying to push the EAs a little too hard.

I have added buys for nzd/jpy and nzd/ usd for the same reason as I did for the eur/jpy. See pics below. This may become my new definition for a secondary trade and I will change my book. Notice the first set of arrows where I took the trade earlier and made profit. The second set shows that the red is not quite there but the Support line is the same. Again the reasoning is if Support is broke the EA will not enter. If it bounces off support like last time the EA will enter the trade. I LIKE THIS WIN WIN For the nzd/usd the trade is more of a primary trade than a secondary trade but you get the idea, I HOPE. Also both trades are at the bottom of the 40MA BB. I have switched to the 40 MA BB even though I have the 20MA in my book and templates. I like it better and helps to keep me out of some bad trades better.

1. Bob, you mentioned above is assuming you have not any open position yet. Correct me if I am wrong again, When we see the white, blue & red beyond 15 line, we turn on the EA. Am I right ?

2. If price go against 1st level and went against by 200 pip, we will manually put a buy limit 200 pip away from our 1st level entry price without tuning on the EA any more ?

I am sorry, bob. You have ansered me already before that EA will automatic re-enter 2nd & 3rd levels every 150 or 200 pip when trade go against our 1st entry.
My next question is when EA re-enter 2nd level, what if the white, blue , red are not beyond 15 and 85 line ? Or put it another way, when EA reenter 2nd level or 3rd level, must we wait for white/red/blue line to cross beyond 15 or 85 line ?

Yes you turn the EA on. I no longer enter my first position manually because even though there is a good chance price will bounce off of support there is also a certain percentage of chance it wont. The EA addition to this system is what saves me some considerable headaches. Doesnt stop all the entrances that arent retraces but it catches enough of them for the system to be profitable consistently. Before I did the EA thing I found my self getting into trouble too often.

The EA 200 is set for 3 levels and the 150 is set for two levels. You can let the EA handle it or you can do it yourself using support or resistance levels. I will do both types depending on the currency and how I think the market will be doing. If I have the 200 EA on and I see a S/R at -180 I will enter at the S/R so I dont have to wait 180 pips to break even. If I get the entrance then I am only 90 pips from break even. The same thing if the S/R line is at -220. I will then manually put a pending order at the 220 and turn off the EA. So I read the market some but most of the trading in the first two levels is handled by the EA.

Yes, I do not enter the trade. For instance the usd/chf trade i called yesterday took almost 16 hours before the EA entered.(See pic below) Line 1 is when I made the trade call. Line 2 is when the EA entered. The EA held out for almost another 40 pips. That is 40 pips extra profit or 40 pips of less risk on that trade. You can see by the pic what a better position the trade is now. If it goes against me I am 200 or 150 pips from my next position instead of 160 or 110. These little things is what makes trading much more successful. You multiply 40 by 10 trades and your talking some real money.

When the 3MA line crosses the 3MA shift 1 you have a reversal or retrace and the EA will enter the trade. Most of the time you will have some kind of move in your direction. Once you clear some profit and bring your SL or TS up you have a guaranteed winner. You can see by my closes every day I get lots of small profits and one or two currencies will run. They all add up. This takes the pressure off of your trading. You set the SL or TS, turn off the EA and let it run. I live and work in China and I usually set my SL TS before the USA session and go to bed. I get up and give my report to you. Imagine sleeping during the most volatile period of trading but that is what I do. I set my trades in the morning before I go to work before the jpy session and then usually add my SL TP TS before the USA session and I am done. I just peek at the score once in a while.

If you get 3-6 currencies in this positioin, something good will happen. If my run percentage is 10-20% I dont have to sit at the computer wondering should I close or let it run. What happens if I lose the profit I have? I dont worry about those things anymore. I put the odds in my favor that 1 or 2 will run and the others will give me some pocket change. To me that is so much better than hoping my one or two trades a day will score.

I am trying to be different than any other thread that exists. I give my trades and logic before the market moves not the next day when it is obvious what you should have done. This looks like a great trade but no trader guru I know would come back and say. See this great trade I did and it went 100 pips against me. You get to see this live. I get tired of these guys who come around after the fact and say, I am a fund manager of gadziillion customers or funds and I have traded blah blah blah years, and you should have blah blah blah yesterday ............. or never do blah blah blah .......... let them come online and post their picks and let us see how good they really are. SHeeeeeeeesh

Not quite sure what you are asking here but I will try. Once I enter the trade I now concetrate on the trade and S/R levels. If I enter all below 15 and now they are all above 85 and still have not made a profit. I know I am in trouble and will get out. You dont have to wait for R,W,B lines to do anything but in my decision making I will close a trade in profit when.
1. White has gone to opposite end.
2. White and blue are at opposite end.
3. Price has hit S/R and I dont think it will continue
4. Price has hit the middle BB band
5. Price has hit the opposite BB band.

Those are my 5 profit points.

Another nice day +435, man when this system is clicking its clicking. No long trends going on right now and it shows on the scoreboard. Oct. 3 and my account is already up 7% for the month. Too bad it doesnt do this everyday but we all know it wont. Enjoy it while it lasts.

sell: usd/cad I have already entered +11 but I had not called it. See pic below.

USD/CAD trade, when price broke through the R (dotted red line) and it did not hold. That was enough of signal for me to treat it as a secondary trade. You can look to the left of the screen and see where I drew a white line. It had not broken through these R lines in the past so I felt safe enough to turn on the EA. If price had not gone down the EA would not have entered but price did so bingo, I am in. Compare this with the aud/chf where I looked for a secondary trade bouncing off the two blue support lines and the middle BB band. Price did not bounce off the support but continued on through. The EA did not enter the trade so we wait until it does. When it works it works
Monday I will put my SL and TS to make is a guaranteed winner and away we go. You notice that today I started a Secondary trade section to keep them separate from primary trades. This way you can understand the difference between the two and why I take some and dont take others.

Whip lash is when you enter a trade and price goes against you. We solve that problem by not using SL but reentering again at another level. So we multi level trade instead of a SL and reenter later of most trading systems. That is how we solve the whiplash problem.

Well thats me up to date on the 6090 and this thread, its taken a week to trawl through it and i bookmarked a few pages with useful info to come back to.

Bob, firstly I'd like to say thanks, for sharing and how do you have the patience for such a comprehensive manual.

Tonight I will be setting up a 4h 3x3 trial for me to get used the system and its peculiarities, I have Monday off work so I may catch you online at some point and pick your brains as I suspect you will be making the most of the chinese holiday.

I'll post my results, then you won't feel you are talking to yourself so much

Nice strong moves at the JPY open today. Bring your SL up and protect your profits. I will be out of the gbp/jpy move soon at break even. Man what a good month so far. This will be a good day to TP at S/R and then put a new order on the other side of the S/R line to see if price keeps running. Get the MAX profit but still stay in the trade if it runs.

Here is my Eur/Aud trade going live right now. The move this moring allowed a nice entrance and it broke through a support line. I placed my SL just above the line to protect my profit so I dont turn a winner into a loser and I put my TP at the next line. Hopefully, it will keep going but if it retraces I secured my profit. Sometimes price will peek over a S/R line and retrace, sometimes they run. Either way I am set on this trade. Here is a pic.

Dun understand your 242 recovery system especially number of lots to re-enter to recover the loss. For example, if i trade the 2L150 with each level entered with 0.2 lot. So how many lots should I apply when use 242 recovery ?

If i use 3L200 with 0.2 lot each level, how many lots again to apply 242 recovery ? Thankyou

My H4 just closed, got about 13 signals from 20 charts....not sure if thats normal.

Closest I see right now is CADJPY and GBPJPY looking almost identical, am I on the right track here?

Not quite sure what your seeing right now but I dont have any signals at this time. Here is the gbp/jpy. Only the white line is above the 85, blue and red are not there yet. Price is at the center of the BB which is no mans land. I would not take that trade. You want to be at the extremes. R,W,B above or below the 15 and 85 and price be at the top or bottom of the BB bands. Then you can turn the EA on. That is the heart of the system.

Maybe you are thinking of taking it as a secondary trade but if you are new to this system I would stick to only primary trades. I seldom take secondary trades right now. If I do it is because price is at the high on the screen or the low of the screen. Right now price is in the middle so you dont take it now. The only secondary trade I would take with the gbp/jpy would be if it was bouncing off of support for a third time. I would take that trade but not one in the middle of the chart.
