Cool. I think the biggest challenge is keeping your head high. Its like anything else, the more you do it the better you are. I have been trading price action for years, and its easy for me to see. You will get there. Seems to be some good traders in this forum as well. Very focused.

edit 3: hope youre all having a good day trading. i sat on my hands during the news, and glad i did. missed out on some fakeouts.

anyone got burned in this upward spike ? i know that some people here were shorting it
to alan d : yeah man i just realize that it wont happen overnight. there are people here with months of experience and there are others that have been doing that for many years. so obviously i cant learn to do it the right way for 2-3 weeks

I am new to the thread and you may have seen my demo account posts. I hope this is ok since been trading this method for less than two weeks.
I trade a live account on longer term more or less swing trading but now retired I am interested in trading a short term method and this seems to suit me but I am still learning.

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know that I've been working with this system... which I call "Jedi Trading" for a week now. It's been a battle trying to understand the connection between my psychology, the market and also the time restrictions placed upon my trading. Anyway, I picked up 80 pips last night on overnight trades I placed. This was a bracket trade on EURUSD and GBPUSD, going short. So it's starting to kick in.
Last week I mentioned I was going to start a documentation project. Well, now I will have 2 approaches to this:

First up as Mac has already said great post, the amount of work you must have put into your findings is tremenodus.
If I may I would also like to express my opinion about this thread and its development. If you read right back from the beginning, which I have done two and 1/4 times,(yep still going) for sure there are changes, questions and development which have taken place along the way, but these changes have been from within the existing framework and have come about as a natural progression of what already existed.
Sure FX, says it like it is he freely admits he is a rather "in your face" person, whcih to some might offend, I don`t believe he means any offence if one feels it. Tough love is sometimes the hardest to take but the most heartfelt.
I feel that much of what you are saying could lead us off track in that we have a whole group of people trading in a quite disciplined way all sharing their views and opinions on the trades they are all attempting to take, execute ad close based on the same interpretation of their charts.
If we all of a sudden dropped everything, launched into amending what we currently do, this thread would become like so many others, where it turns into open war fare, within a few days the thread woul dry up.
Also I am making money as well, why would I want to do anything other than stay as I am - other than again improve my own chart reading skills ?
I would second mac and suggest that the best thing is to get into the club, trade using the mehtod as is and see how you do, ask questions and post charts baed on how you do.
Nowithstanding the above, lest us not forget that trading is a voyage of discovery along which we find out things about ourselves and there isn`t anything wrong in trading the "System II with Irony way" but at the same time noting that for yourself a method slightly different in one aspect or another might be more suitable for you and therefore eventually finding your own personal style. We are all after all different personalities and what suits one will not suit all. This is very much the case in trading.
In anycase, stay on the thread get involved, post your trades and good luck, I am sure your contribution can be a very worthwhoile one from within the "family".

Trade 1 WHy did you wait so long to close after the break at the toip which you have marked ?
Trade 3 - Was a short right so you are +23 no ? Looks like -23 to me on the chart when I blow it up ?
