just got stopped and i;m on my way to second sl. actuall i just got it.. it erased all my profits for today and i lost additional pips. thats a total absurd and i dont think i am ever going to make consistent profit with that style of trading. that stiupid situation is probably because of the news, but i am not really interested in them. so i should stop trading around news time perhaps you can advise me

I will share with you my news policy in hopes it helps you. If I am welland truly in profit, I will set my stop tight, But I never initiate a trade around a major announcement like Employment numbers. Hope this helps

This excellent intelligent post comes from a guy that I was the most hard on and harsh at times.. Macdaddy is by far one of my favorite guys in here not bcz of this post but because of his true honesty and being a genuine guy.. I spoted that in the very begining and I have told him before and say it again that i will break my back for a guy like that..

yeah i just made a bad mistake, i just look at the screen without even bothering to know when do these news come out and thats it.. thanks

Yeah worst thing was, the drop of 50 pips was 15 mins prior to the news... it beat me with a baseball bat with spikes in it.

am i the wrong one or that eurusd is behaving like sh*t last couple of hours. got into another "wrong long" .. now shorting and looking for a way to recover maybe half of my losses.. and even that would be a true miracle ;d

Felin, I saw the long signal, but as we saw earlier, bad timing. Also with Big Ben on this morning and then that followed by ISM, it was time for me to sit and watch. Then we got the short signal. Just my view on things and how I played it. "The Trade" if you will was short at 4590 earlier this morning. Head up and keep watching. It will get clearer.

yeah i know but i just made too many wrong trades today. started with 25-30 pip profit and was happy about it , because its not bad for me. and then i got stopped 2 times and got into a big loss and now even bigger with the false long. doesnt matter. i will continue seeking an opportunity to get in a right direction. if i cant manage to do that today, perhaps i will succeed tomorrow good luck to you !

well at least you are in profit. i still havent learned to take the small fcrs right at the moment and draw some pips out of them.most often the situation gets clear for me only when it is already too late to execute the position.it seems that you took the trade right at the next bar before it was closed
