The next EA version will have more MTF options. Current version can only use four MTF trix options.

I have read all the posts, I have downloaded all the set files and indicators posted here, V0.2 V0.7 and V0.8 downloaded without a problem but when i download V 1.0 or V 0.9 then i get an error message dammaged or unknown file format, why is that?
I am using v2 on the manual trading only
Is there someone that can help me please

I'm glad to hear that THV EA wil evolve even further. It would be great if you could implement Miss Pips scalping strategy on 1m EU/
USD (4+4 MFT histo +2 cloud histo and 240,750,1500 SMA's described on page 830 #12445 of THV thread) which work very well for me (and others). Many thanks for all your hard work and outstanding devotion to this project.

Hi,

depends a bit on your timeframe but I find 1 week on m5 and 2 weeks on m15 sufficient to get an idea.

Then I do a longer test 3 months ( overnight ).

Then I pick the worst performing 2 weeks of that 3 months and try and tune that,

Then rerun the 3 month test and see if the tuning has made a positive difference or not.

Also forward testing my best sets from the above back tests.

Will post results when I have anything good.

I'm using Alpari & FXCM downloads for testing. Although the results are similar they are not identical. Anyone else come across this?

sound were good and promising! will it also has an option to close
the complete order by an specified indicator signal and 2 more TPs?

Hi all. I have attached my set file for you all to see, use and modify accordingly. It has not taken a trade yet since I modified it yesterday but then again no conditions have been met on the 30 in chart, which where I am currently trading it on.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I asked that question in this thread or system thread, it is not similar because of the difference in history files, even a few pips may make a difference sometimes.

Hi again. My EA finally took some trades based on my settings. One of them was successful but I cannot understand why the first two occurred. A buy order was taken even though the fast and slow trix had crossed downward.

Can someone please take a look at the attached picture and help me to understand? I have also attached my set file again.

I think, you should have to change the setting

FastSlowTrixCross=300

to

FastSlowTrixCross=310 (closed candle only for entry)

or

FastSlowTrixCross=311 (closed candle for entry and exit)

because in your setting "FastSlowTrixCross=300" it could happen, that there is a temporarely positive trix cross signal during the "building" of a the candle.

If above doesn´t do the trick try changing TrixDivergence to 0, 1 or 2.
I had similar behaviour with 3 value.

Hi everybody,
This is my first post on this thread - respect for THV EA team!
I've started with test (set of Kaz on M15) - it is incredible!
But I've noticed that if Daily Average is less than 120-130 - EA gains a lot of wrong signals. Can we set in config : value of Daily Average more than xxx?

I am having trouble with the trading times on the live edition. I have set my session time to 00152000 and have set the time difference of 3 hours from GMT (FXCBS brokerage) and even though the server time is within trading hours, I continue to get the "we are outside trading hours" message.

The same thing is happening to me on my ODL demo. Is there a setting I am missing?

p.s. this didn't happen to me at all on the other versions.

Time difference only refers to pivots indicator not to trading hours. I have tried FXCBS platform and trading times work correctly. Can you attach your set file?

Hi xux99 - I have attached a screenshot that shows the system starting taking trades around 08:00, when actually, the way I have the trading hours set (01002000), it should have been taking trades well before 08:00. I will send you my set file, but I'm not sure how to do that. Can you give me instructions on how to copy my settings? thanks for your time.

Press F7, then save it.
After this, click on reply on this forum and you will see: Attachments, click on this, find the file that you just saved, click on the Upload button.
And submit your reply.
