DislikedSo ashamed was I of my crappy execution of this simple method in my first week with it I went underground with the whole thread printed out and read it again, and studied the charts - phew.
Started again. Back in the action tomorrow. No prediction, no hallucinating FCR's that aren't there, no news trading - just cool, calm, patient hunting....then...££££$$$$
Sorry for my blethering last week.
Thanks for all your tolerant help too.Ignored

Dislikedhey mack---looks like I'm in the same boat with you . I've been silent lately, trying to read more, absorb more, learn more, and trying to" just get my head in the right place"!! I get the basic idea but I seem to get too nervous, cautious, antsy, and impatient by watching too closely , I think. And that's with just a demo acccount!! I'm trying to treat it like it's real.
Anyways, any suggestions??Ignored

DislikedHi Captain,
Again, just my personal shot at this but I would concentrate on one thing at a time:
- Say go for entries first, don`t even worry about pips, or profit or exits to begin with, get the entry right first. Analize where u go wrong when compared to Fx
- Then go for Exits etc
- Then go for perfecting runners
- Then go for fine tuning - not getting sucked into continuations etc
As i say just my one shot, but hope that it helpsIgnored

DislikedHi,
I do not trade System II, but you may find this useful, because on 5 min chart precision pays off. Ever since I have started trading on eSignal's composite feed, I have noticed all those little dirty tricks (or are they just mistakes?) brokers are playing against us. My broker's (Oanda) feed looks similar to yours. But there was no breakout at the place you marked BOOM, as you can see from the chart below.Ignored
Dislikednice post.. I apperciated Paul..
If you don't mind i like to input a short summery here.. a quick story..
guys.. afew weeks ago, Paul or (fxachilies 6mo ago).. was not catching whole lot of runners.. so he made less or its safe to say he did not take full advantage of a given ride.. as a result he cut winners short and fell into risky countituation signals.. by doing that most times he gave back what he made on his small made profits..
Paul at best brokeven or made little at end.. bottomline = BE
Now.. Paul holds on to his postions a lil longer...Ignored
DislikedMac,
For my money you have been a very valid contributor to this thread and as I think I said once before there is nothing wrong bearing all with crappy trades, as those trades bit by bit get better and better and by posting them they get etter even faster than normal
U R on the road to the bank keep it up .Ignored
