I especially want to thank Calderone for his EU Weekly recently posted.

He detailed several subtle pieces in his analysis that I truly appreciate.

Although the various TF trends are bullish he has alerted us to an impending decline, possibly brief or shallow, from the just turning flat K-S and the downturn in the Chikou Span marked with the circles.

This really helps me to look for IchiMoku's slightest signs and helps me better read the whole system.

Thanks to all who are so graciously sharing their analyses and, of course, of leader and chief swordsman, Vic.

Hey Vic,

Don't kill yourself over one trade . Remember one pip in the bag is worth ten in the bush (more relevant when talking about hunting ... but it works in trading too!) .

I actually jumped in halfway up, probably at the point you exited! For some reason, I was waiting for the trade to clear 0.8866 before I entered. All in all though, the thing I love about ichi is that it is just as applicable on 4 hrs as it is on 15 min, so it provides entries for both short and long term trades. My MM and RM rules are still in the making, however, one idea I have had is to trade two different ways.

1. 15m entries with SL following 15m KS looking for a profit of 50+ pips.

2. 4hr entries with SL initially following 15m KS looking for a clearance of first resistance area. Once this happens and pips are in the proverbial bag, then move SL with 4hr KS. Looking for a profit of 100+ pips.

a very good plan , i also started to change my mind some how about lower TFs

i think if i followed 5 pairs , i'll have the chance to find at least 1 complete signal on the 4Hrs and 1 complete signal on the 1hr during the week, these entries are so strong and the price react to them very good also they offer the same weekly target for me and may be more, very safe trades, stress free and i really mean it by stress free.

Just wanted to add that the next high is 14860 area from Sept last year. Price already took out a hi of 14718 from Dec. Weekly did close lower than that high, but we did have a daily close higher than 14718. Could there be a retrace before it heads up to the Sept 08 high, definitely. We'll just have to wait and see Just my two cents

I completely agree! Although you are not trading as it is a bank holiday in Japan, I would be interested to know what pairs you would consider to be preparing for good entries on 4hrly or daily TFs in the next few days?

well so far u may check the gbpjpy, gbpusd, they will offer very good positions on the 1hr and 4hrs within this week i think

usdchf there is an entry on 1hr chart looks good .

but i'll be ready with my whole plan after london opens ,i'll make sure to share it in here

any one noticed the daily signal on the daily chart, i think if the Span closed today above the price we might see a strong move, i'll be watching this good entry

Well spotted Vic,

I think we will see very strong Daily and 4 hrly signals for long entry coincide with a break of the senkou span B and the large kumo on the weekly. Once cspan clears price on 4 hourly and daily and price clears 79.75 / 80.00ish area, look out for big long movement!

If A/J moves up from here guys you are essentially predicting an end to the long term down trend for the entire market.

There is bearish engulfing for A/J and Nikkei on the weekly charts these will be hard candle patterns to break. More likely we just continue to range here.

Warriors...a turtle trader from the 80's has just described our system...simple to implement...easy to trade the trend...stop loss placement (risk management)...potential targets based on the chinkou span or previous lows. Lot size per stop loss management = pips above/below the cloud or KS.

The only question is "how much can you afford to put on and manage" and I think that is up to the individual trader.

Its all right brfore your eyes.

Just be patient...study...read...paper trade...become a warrior vs a blogger.

If you are confused or losing money on your trades....ask your self those five questions. Pull up a daily chart of your best pairs and really look and study the chart with these questions in mind.

Looking at the weekly chart of AUDJPY you can see that the price is ranging at the top of the Kumo. It seems as though we're at a critical point of either ending a reversal, or breaking out up after a small pull-back.

I have a small conspiracy guess that next month sometime, there will be another crash of everything, in which case the price will bounce off the top of the kumo and sink below the 54.00 price line and much much lower. This is only true if you believe the Robert Prechter/Elliot wave forecast.

EDIT: BTW I have HA candles on my charts now.

Either way there is no need to be impatient on our part.

Ichi will not give the breakout signal on high TF, she will only allow us to enter after the trend has been established.

yes i totally agree with you that this is some how a risky position also due to the fact that Kumo is flat we might see a false break out, but also i consider the daily signal as a trend resuming alert, if the Ts weekly managed to support the move as it is doing for the last period we might test the year high again and may be a break for a new level , but this deal need a close eye to think and forecast day by day the price actions.
