hi dave,

just wondering if you can put your input on this, someone told me that once euro hits 1750 area, go short if it fails to break that area, what is your take on this, only if you have time to answer.

GOOD trade David. thank for your post, Last night my trade was pulled out -25 , but today i was long from 1665, i closed @ 1725.
what i see in 4h chart, is that the upper bound in the channal trend is around 1750, could be a place to go short, target 1620.

yea short on a failer of 1.1750 range is good. I feel like that top trend line on my previously posted chart is a viable trade too though and a short from there is what I am looking for.

ty. sux my s/l at 1.1640 got hit exactly on trade station. I woke up just in time to go long again. I only lost 15 pip in my position.
I am still looking for that wave C direction.

7/10 is crossing; On TOPS yellow line is bouncing off the blue line. I think I’ll give it a try with a sl above 1.1775.

trailing stop hit +35 pips


I am not ready to go short yet I'm not convinced it wont test 1.1750 range first. Or higher. That top trend line needs to come into play some time.

Rember 80% of traders fail. Where does the majority of traders trade?...in the direction of the trend. Keep that in mind.

There is a decreasing wave pattern I guess we can ride out. One of the next attempts gotta break out some time.

congratulations you found the C wave
i entered long @1730 i closed @1760, i have to be honest, i did not believe last night in the eur going up, anyway i learned a lot from your trades.

target is top trend line or close to it.

S/l is just past 50% fibo on that impulse wave from 1.1640-1.1760. It should rise to the top trend line in a 1,2,3,4,5 wave patern.

This next chart shows the trend reversal. The yellow circle is the double bottom.
The Decreasing wave pattern also signified the reversal. This chart shows downward trend losing momentom. Now the test is can momentom hold to the upside long enough to hit that top trend line. That is the perfect short entry or hold long on a sustained break.
A nice 5 wave pattern in this shot up. A failer to make a new high on the 3rd attenpt I will pull trade. There should be a,b,c waves now and we're in wave a now.

here is the 5 wave labled. Fits perfect. Wave 4 doesn't go past top of 1. If wave 2 is a,b,c then 4 is 1 sharp move. And vice-versa.
Wave a shouldn't go lower than 1.1725/30 wave B should retest highs(hopefully make new high). And wave C should come closest to my stop missing it by 5-10 pips.

next week I will look to go short at or above 1.1774

targeting 1.1590

s/l to be determined.

This was the range I was waiting for for the short entry.

s/l 1.1850 (just above the 20 day MA wich is 1.1848)

Target: open pending a possible retest of lows.

I belive that if the lows are retested the buyers that were there befor won't be this time.
