are you going to short this? Higher TF has rather long bias.
Do you count on daily reach Kijun, or H4 reach kumo? for me it's against the rules. If you mind, please explain that a bit more.

I'm working on a lower TF, M30 and down, mostly M1 and M5, but as I said I took the first one outside the rules, and the second seemed a confirmation of my first decision.

the signal on the 15 min moved the pair to the first S level , any one in this i think you can TP now and may looking for a reentry with a break to the S

How not to trade.............

Just had to trade yesterday during a nothing much happening day.

Day, 4h, 1h price below Kumo. That's good.

TS crossed KS for perfect signal except for one thing...the crossing occurred slightly inside the bottom of the kumo. But what me worry? I needed to trade. But slightly breaking the rules cost me over 50 pips.

I pray this loss teaches me more patience to wait and some days there may not be any trades with perfect signals...that's rare but I must plan for it mentally.

Update: LbTrader pointed out what is now obvious that was a huge mistake. I marked a gray circle where the Cs was at entry; it shows price at the CS meaning no room to drop lower...not a perfect signal and VIC teaches only take perfect signals. Thanks LBTRADER for straigntening me out on this.

Made my Ucad overtrading loss back taking the Eur/Gbp long with perfect 1h signal for more than I lost. Praise the Lord Vic knows how to teach me and I will listen...most of the time.

thanks for posting, if you waited one more candle you would have seen the CS crossing upwards, but I would have seen it earlier with HA change in direction & momentum.
another way to play it would have been to switch to 5M and take it earlier for a 30-40 pip profit.
this is all in retrospect but still valid for the future.

Hi Steve, sorry to hear that. It's not Ichimoku that will make you profitable. Ichi is a just a small part of success. Trading is about discipline, hardwork and risk management. Follow your trading plan. Select your trades. Less is more.

if you go back to the reference pdf file, it explains fully the significance of the Chikou span when confirming a TS/KS cross. in fact for any ichimoku strategy that you use, be it the strong signal or any other (and there are 5 of them, but strong signal is the least risky)you need to look at the CS, and if you consider it a pure CS cross when it crosses the candles upwards this is bullish and when it crosses downward it is bearish. combining a bullish CS cross with a neutral TS/KS cross makes it even weaker (or the other way round).

Yes he does.

Look for the posts about drawing horizontal lines at Chikou points as a visual aid to understand the point.

actually he does, he always tells us to check the CS before a trade when you have a TS/KS cross and yours was neutral so you needed to confirm it with CS, he also mentions that even if the cross is perfect but is facing a key S/R ahead you'd better wait till that S/R is cleared.

P.S. I have a suggestion to wolfan, perhaps he can code it into the ichi signal to display as a default the strong buy and strong sell rules below the signal (and can be turned off if one does not need it).
