DislikedThe attached indicator will show elapsed time for each Renko block....Ignored
DislikedI've done some work with LV's 2.1 version and have been running the attached programs for the last week with no problems....Ignored
DislikedSounds great Lou, will give it a try & give RenkoAM_v2.0 a closer look.
Thanks for you hard work on this....Ignored
DislikedYou've got it - if blocks are taking 20-30 minutes to complete you might not want to be trading. Conversely, note that when blocks form quickly they often come in groups. Also, note that the blocks that take a long time to form are often the ones right before a reversal.Ignored
DislikedHi Guys, Is V3.0 going to be available as an indicator??, I Have been running V2.1 with the only problem being that when my m/c has been off and I restart MT4 I have to do it twice to Get the blocks to update correctly. Other than that it has been working a treat for me, trully greatfull for all your hard work in putting this renko stuff together.

DislikedI've done some work with LV's 2.1 version and have been running the attached programs for the last week with no problems. I chose to bump the version number of the Renko block code to v3.0 to allow LV room to modify his indicator-based code without conflict.Ignored
DislikedI doubt it. I had the same experience with the indicator version and couldn't find the reason why. What's wrong with using it as an EA?Ignored
DislikedNice work.
About the start up problems with the indicator version: I believe it has to do with indicators executing in the main thread in MT4 while scripts and EA's don't. (Even functions like TimeLocal() will give you the "wrong" time while MT is updating the history). I have been playing around a bit with it, but not found a good way to fix it. An EA is a good compromise I think.

DislikedLou, No reason come to think of it, not sure why but I thought I had to have it running from a window on it's own!! I like to watch 1min candle charts aswell as the renko and didn't want the confusion of having multiple instances of 1 min charts on the screen for each currency I trade. anyway, 8 wins 1 loss for me this week without a thought of a wick! so if it isn't broke...... springs to mind.
thanks
