Where was your stop on that one because I got stopped out at the beginning of the week.

Some questions about stops again:
1/ On the 5min charts, the kumo moves very quickly, can we move our stop down with the kumo even though the trade may not be in profit yet or is that unsafe?
2/ You suggested moving to breakeven on the JPY pairs after 20 pips when going for 50pips total - what you suggest on some of the lower ADR pairs like USDCHF...10pips? Seems a bit close.

hey fendi,

Well to put it simply,
there are various methods people use and successfully too. however each system has its probability of success. from what i have read and learnt, Ichimoku has a higher probabilty than say using moving averages to give you a green pip trade.
Try going thru the first 10 pages of this thread.. most your questions should be answered. the rest ppl out here can answer.

Just starting to go over this thread and trying this system as I read....not bad!!

I won't ask any questions until I read most of the thread, so for now I will read, observe and demo some trades. It really looks promising though.

Ok Fendi, first you have to download the pdf file on page 23 post 340 and read it carefully, then re-read it (I have done so at least 5 times), each time you read you discover something new. second you need to go thru the first 10 pages of this thread and see how Vic applies the strong signal strategy for entry and exit. Finally you can join the group in the last pages and see the reports that are being posted on many currency pairs daily and weekly.
I am sure you will convert to ichimoku once you discover its true power.

If you have time to explain why you closed your trades I know I'd learn something from you. I can see price has moved so far it takes a weekly chart to find support on the Uchf that caused it to pause. Did this influence you? Was it stalled for so long it just makes sense to move on to something else?

i have been studying ichi and have incorporated it into my system. it works very well on historical backtest and i thank you all for sharing. i hope to add value here as well. lets all have a wonderful day ahead.

lbtrader's advice is really good. It doesn't take long to read the method behind the system and once you have you will see how great this system is for its simplicity and accuracy.

The real benefit that you will receive with us here is that there are a number of us covering pairs weekly, daily and then post trade entries as they come up.

Each trade has a trade summary report provided and is a great reference tool for learning entry and exit strategies etc.

In the bottom of this post there is a link to the "Reports Archive", this is here you can find all the past reports.

Take care on this pair at the moment. It has dropped quite a distance in the last few days and 148.90 area is the bottom of its trading range that has kept it restricted for the past few weeks.

The price is above the TS on the 15min and looks to be bouncing there.

The kumo on the 5min and 30min is very flat on top also which normally seems to have a gravity effect on price pulling it towards the flat top.

I have just been discussing this with Vic and we think that NY session might be a safer bet on this pair. I will be posting the G/Y Daily report soon.

**Most importantly though, you are right! It does look like it is setting up for another move down so your logic is good. There is just some concern about how hard it will continue lower in the short term. I follow this pair all day everyday (unless I'm asleep) and it can be a little difficult around major support/resistance areas******

Cheers for the advice 4x, yeah i see a strong support there, it looks like it might want to break it though, and if so it would be nice to be in for the ride, if we get a m5 cross of Ts/Ks im going to get in with small amount, see if it breaks support

Edit: on more investigation, price is quite overextended from the kumo, and the chikou span is not below the price curve on the M5, which is not a strong signal, i will be thinking twice. thanks 4x

hello Steve
i closed the chf cause it was taking too long and the support was holding again, so i pref to close it now and think of other deals , and regarding the other 2 positions they have done my targets and i am happy like this, will start thinking deals again after London fix
