crushed the last recent HH at 4647.. now approaching the yearly res at 4718 (last dec).. i will bank right there if it gets there, unless it crushed that one too.. but i doubt it more than likely there will be bounce off.. otherwise i will bank on the break of last fcr.. into +60 profit at the moment.. playing #1 allthough way

sl locked under fcr for + 44pips.. I let it be maybe i get another shot up to that resistant where my tp is..

I will wait foir a correction from FX on this, but where I have marked the red line, there is in IMHO a very small FCR

Hi

Here are my trades for today. I stopped traing before all the news items.

Trade 1 - Complete mess, got caught in the endas I didn`t know if I was playing #1 or 2

The ret of the day was recovery mode although I have to credit myself with the fact that I stick to the plan and didn`t snatch all avaialble points that were on the table, prefering to wait for the runner. As it happended the runner came when I was noi longer trading. I did end up a few pips in advance.

To Fx, the more I see of this method the more I see the importance of getting in at the beinning of the move and then letting it take you where it wants to go. It gives you such a favourable position over other traders who join further up the move.

just came to check my long trade before going to bed.. and figured mind aswell answer G question..

That is not a fcr to take short postion on specially when your in such a bullish move.. I just used that for my sl stop since it was the only close price dip..

about your chart/trades,
firstly i have hard time reading your charts its to noise with all this lines.. but what i see is a lot of ins and outs.. instead of getting in early with prompt fcr recognition and riding it.. but your on the right track and it takes practise.. so doing a nice job..

wow, set limit order above break of 1.4621 and had to go out, came back to this. Just moved my sl quickly, will now read posts to see how you all got on.

Edit: sorry about the split pic, in my excitment of trying to read posts, and looking at all those pips, I posted the whole screen.

I am glad that you realize that more and more everyday.. and thats all it matters.. don't sweat it.. your doing so much better than lets say two weeks ago..
its evident that instead of losing 13 pips on your trade 1 you should have closed it with the early fcr at BE and got in with the same fcr (look at my chart in past posts) and banked about 20pips.. and more importantly that would have eliminated the 2nd trade further down.. ( i had a bobo myself around that area too) so that was the difference maker for us today before the news time.. and great job with staying atta that bullshit news time..

guys it is important that you set your scheduel to trade from couple of hours befor London open to atleast couple of hours past NY open.. you just don't know when the one runner that your looking for will occur.. so you got to be there all the time.. so its a full time job specially with our style of trading.. just simpley look at paul.. he was pretty much in and out with every shot but not the runner..
my system is on all the time.. i am not infornt of it evey minute but i got my orders set and watch the screen often enough to not miss anything..

Hello to all,

I have been away from my monitor for a few days.... had to take a trip up north and deal with some family obligations... thoroughly enjoyed catching up with my reading here... The interaction and mentorship in this thread is a beautiful thing... tough love by FX/Feb/Dare.... lol... if you have not appreciated it yet you will if you stick around.

Looks like market was ranging all asian session and too risky to take the small FCR's. I got my buy order @4691 and the sell order @4652

yes, i live in australia, so i trade the asian session... nothing all day... just ranging.. did plenty of gardening instead, maybe now that uk will open soon it'll move?. Nice spike on gold.. cheers

ok my take on this breakout..
I just exited at BE..
I do not like the weak break and I sure don't like the brearish candel now..
this is the time I will rather treat this as the regular 123.. most likly after the open..

I took a long test at 14692 and didn't get out quick enough on the retrace. I'm hanging in prepared to lose the pips. SL at 14676.
