I popped in and out today in a couple of trades that ended up working in my favour (34+ total) so I've gotta say I'm pretty happy with itBut for this to work well, do I have to be in front of my comp all day watching the charts? I mean analyzing the direction from higher tf's is easy and doesn't take long, luckily

If you have a job, then the only option is longer term trading I think, ie 4hr and daily charts. Get a broker that can send you email or text alerts and then you can action a trade from that either opening up a chart at work for a few mins to check it out. Some broker's have websites to let you send trades through. Even if you weren't trading ichi, you'd have to trade the longer term charts if you can't access this at work. Or get an indicator with alerts like the one I have or the one that lionsden developed - search through the posts.
Very much appreciated. I was wondering, if I do trade on from the higher time frames as suggested, does that mean I have to expose myself to more risk by having my stop placed 100pips away on a 4hr chart as opposed to 50pips on a 15min for example? Could I just give you my cell and you can send me text messages when a good trade comes about LOL

FK, I am in the same bind myself as my job is mostly day but I also work nights every other day. I can catch some of the London session and most of the NY but cannot catch the asian session without suffering the next day. there are plenty of opportunities for you with all the warriors reports coming up every day and increasing by the day. so you can pick up the best setups.

I'll just have to find some time in the evening before bed to do some analysis, demo trade on different TF's using ichi and see how things turn out. I'd really love to be able to transition from this job to trading I'm going to guess i'm not the only one lol

higher time frame is as good as short time frame , u have to take your positions based on lets say daily and 4 h , in the direction of weekly . and u adjust ur lot size because u will have a high draw down but u will end up in profit .
and u have to study more ichi to get more chance to be in a trade because waiting for a cross on daily or 4 h it is not as often as in 5 min . like u need to see if you have a break of the cloud confirmed by span and so on . there is a document attached at the beginning of the thread it is very useful to read it and o understand it . and once u digest it u will find ichi a very profitable way to trade .
and if u are looking for a few pips a days just join us after work and u will get it

But...forex gods give us the perfect instrument: EURGBP. Now we have a way to bet against the pound all day long without worrying about SP500 rally blowing our position away.
All we need to do? Go long the dips and wait for fundamentals to kick in

So far, I have found better success with trade entries where the Ts/Ks cross is close to the cloud. You often get Ts/Ks crosses way above the cloud but whe we enter there, the stop loss is much further away - seems less likely to succeed as price will return to the cloud at some point, no?
ALso, one other question I had...when we place the stop on the other side of the kumo - do we place it at the current kumo point or the forecasted kumo 26 periods ahead?
I'm going to put my two cents in on answering the question based on what I do. I do it at current and give 5-10pips from top or bottom. Does that make sense by any chance?
