both, whenever the HA shows resumption of the original trend and at the end of the countertrend rally, as long as the higher TF confirm and there is no serious breach of the kumo.

When price is away from the kumo are you using the Ks as the stop plus a buffer? I guess on the M1 charts you could still use the kumo if needed?

I use the kumo as long as it is not breached. the KS is not useful on the 1M, but you can use the 5 or 15M KS.

Hi,
I'm new to forex et especially with Ichimoku. I have read every single post and it was really very interesting. I have tried it on a demo account and the result was not so bad for a newbie, I think. I have a question regarding the Ichi Signal indicator. Is there a version of it with a sound alert when there is a right cross according to Vic's rules? (I have read that one or two of you have tried to code it)
And I want to thank all of you for your fantastic work here and especially the Great Vic!!!
Hope you can help me to reach your level of success and maybe one day I will also become a soldier of this great army.

Hi all,

I popped in and out today in a couple of trades that ended up working in my favour (34+ total) so I've gotta say I'm pretty happy with it But for this to work well, do I have to be in front of my comp all day watching the charts? I mean analyzing the direction from higher tf's is easy and doesn't take long, luckily , but then it seems like if you're not watching all day youre going to miss optimal trades. I've got a job, that allows me to get into here at least, but can't be watching charts endlessly. Is trading the forex hopeless for me? I can catch early movement of the Asian session but that's about it.
I'm a fan of ichi and of trading but don't know if i can do it with a full time job. Any hints or suggestions on trading times for ichi?
