the first trade wasn't a ping-pong yet, just regular fractal reversal,
after that ping-pong started, but if you widen-up the boundary then is less entries to play ...

Lets post a couple of trades tomorrow if its in a slow sluggish range tomorrow.

I also only managed to define a range midday Sydney, about 1pm was my first of two trades in the range.

I also find that 123 works within the range nicely, I didnt trade the breaks of it but used the failure of the HH or LL within the trading bracket to decide where to close to the trade or place a trailing stop.

Anyways, one cannot analyse data based on one day, needs a few weeks of viewing and trading the Sydney session on EUR to see if a statergy based on Sydney session can work well.

Up for trying it out? Lighting the load until we can establish some ground rules on the ping pong asia style

For you ping pong lovers.. lol.. feb is opening a new thread soley for that game.. this thread (system II with irony) is about 123 and runners..

I know feb says there is manyways to skin a cat.. but i also belive in mastering one thing and becoming the expert of it.. i think he will concure with me when it comes down to core purpose of this thread..

you wanna know my opinion..
ping pong sucks.. with all do respect..
just imagine if you were ping ponging yesterday when that bullish explosion happened.. you would have lost on your pingpong trade bigtime.. giving back all your made little profits in one.. and worst be late or totaly miss a chance of making a easy 150pips..

I just like to see this thread to stay with its original core as we are improving it to a advance level by sharpening our expectancy skill as a team and getting great commentory and live trading and involvments from everyone.

May I give some of you a bit of advise?.... are you trading the basic 1-2-3, the FCR, Ping Pong? If you are new to this thread...Sloooow down... read the entire thread....start with 1-2-3 ....develop your skills and introduce the others as your comfort level and skills can handle it.. This is not a race nor you have to be trading whatever is the flavor of the day... No matter what you read or learn in the process...you are alone in your path to success.. Think for yourselves, ask questions, go back after the day is over and analyse your moves. This is not a social forum although we like each other and can have fun doing what we are doing. Anyway, we are all very fortunate to have a core group here that is unconditionally helping each other.

In my opinion it's really good to separate the different set-ups into different threads,
this one should be dedicated only to the original "system II" otherwise it may grow to quickly too big and beyond any comprehension.
It's not a problem to switch between the threads as market conditions are changing, but if someone find this hard, ... well, than bad luck.

enox.. are you being serious with this question or your kidding around..
anyhow here is my answer if your asking me.. (no offence to anyone again.. its my genuine opinion about ping pong)..
we trade the breakouts of the bracket enox not the other way around.. ping pong is a game played inside the bracket..

ping>>>>> <<<<<pong..

you get in with ping and get out with pong and then be happy with making dogshit.. then must be super discipline to exit when it tears ass either pong's ass or ping's ass.. lol.. and then bear with the fact that you missed a huge runner..

One threat = one method

The system II = 1-2-3 setup, if continuation fails, then FCR....
and Range breakouts as well...

Keeping on with System II...
Long on this FCR, but babysitting it, only in case it does not break the range up boundarie...
