we dont have healthcare here,
if u work , ur company may provide u with insurance which they ll deduct from ur paycheck...
but for most ppl here , hospital bill is from ur own pocket ...
private hospital is sure a lil steep , but the govt hospital is pretty cheap ... its ur choice really ...

Interesting, as has been the norm for us Aussies to pay for health insurance or pay extra in taxes (called medicare levy)...don't understand the fuss really...don't think anyone else should pay for my healthcare and likewise (except for those truly disadvantaged....more than happy to pay my share)
Aussies are covered one way or another but they don't get fined $3800 for not having private insurance. I think that's the point.

Thinking now about MM. I'm little bit scared of averaging down as you can die very soon, if I use some kinds of R/R ratios this is also one big sucker as you cannot define uncertain things, now thinking what to put more weigh on FA or TA, because patterns can mutate and also market can mutate from the fundamentals. If you trade shorter term you can get screwed by orders from big boys, if you trade longer term market can get insane against all natural logic. Really this forex market is for my opinion one big puzzle :S:S:S

Hi everyone. Very small range on the EUR/USD so far today. Still, making a few pips here and there. Very much ants work today. Let see if there is some good movement with the NY session. After the big movement yesterday, I would not be surprise if it turns out to be a day watching the grass grow. Good trading folks. Ray

I will drop you an email as promised soon. Been trying out your MO and MM.. must say.. extremely profitable and effective.. but must be vigilant in managing book and trimming or adding to position to find good equilibrium.

fti's MM is different from averaging down.
Firstly, averaging down is normally applied on top/bottom picking. fti goes with trend, not reverse trend;
Secondly, fti has taught us multi demention skills to dance with the market including MM. When apply MM, we need to consider the other aspects we've learned. Not just averaging down.
Finally, you mentioned, FA...TA...RR... can do this or that out of our expectations. Isn't it the reason that we can make money on it?

On thing I will say about this method. When I first started studying it I was more interested in the meat of the subject, so to speak. I wanted to learn about positioning, money management and reading chart patterns etcetera, and understand how fti "danced", as they were things that were all quite new to me.

The stories about the monk carrying the woman and the old man on top of his roof in a flood were of less interest to me. Some I had heard before and I liked to think of myself as someone who had got that sort of thing sussed out and considered myself a step ahead of many other people as far as the ego and spiritual things go. Trading every day teaches you what you have in fact managed to internalise and, what you think you already know but don't, quickly becomes very clear to you.

However hard or easy the bare bones of the MO may be for people to learn, without having full control of yourself it will be impossible to benefit from. As an example, on several occasions I have stubbornly held on to a position that had come back into a small profit after being out of the money for quite a while, in the hope that it would continue in my favour and make the waiting worthwhile. As it came up and "touched" where I was for the third time, I could not help but see myself as that old man on the roof!

Actually in US everybody is covered...there is a law that any one thas show up at any hospital emergency room MUST be treated...the thing behind are the socialists that want to get control of 20 % of the economy and also to get the 15 million of votes of the illegal aliens in the contry after passing an upcoming legalization act....so the demo would control the contry forever....it is all B.S....

Democrats will be guilty of the same thing the Republicans did when they had control of both houses and the Presidency, trying to ram their parties agenda down the throats of the populace. They think that because they won the vote they perceive it as a mandate of the people.

You wont hear this in the news but unbiased polls show the American people and their preference for Government as centrist with a slight slant to the right. Those families that were born here (majority at the moment) are patriotic, religious based, and family oriented. They like a balanced government made up of Dems and Pubs to offset each other. The face of America has been slowly changing as you see the deterioration of the family unit and an ever increasing influx of Immigrant residents. However the shift from cultures is being seen as the Libs and Immigrants are more prominent on the big coastal cities, that's why you see the voter demographics so polarized between the coast and the heartland.

What happens ever so often is the Governmental power shift gets out of kilter (we just had that with the last Republican administration) and the populace springs back in the other direction. President Obama was the recipient of the anti-republican sentiment. It's not that the populace dislikes the right view, it had just gone to far right, and we are seeing those in charge quickly take it too far left, as can been seen by all the fuss everywhere over every political matter.... government has been operating at the extremes and you will see a shift back to the middle starting in 2010.

It's no different than looking at a chart, as price tries to find it's equilibrium.

That may be law to treat anyone entering hospital emergency but in reality it doesn't quite work like that. Also, we are not talking about emergencies only here but medical cover in general.

I grew up in Australia and the system there is fine with me. It has changed since leaving but I assume I can get treatment without payment when I need it for whatever I may need.

In the UK, the NHS provides all of that and even for visitors "free" of charge. They reward doctors for making their patients better. Not for the number of rejected medical requests that only benefit private health cover companies.

I don't understand why anyone would be against such a system? I suspect the medical insurance companies are spreading lots of untruths.

As a outsider, an Australia, I have to say that I like President Obama and have been impressed by him. Unfortunely both Bush's govt and Obama's govt seem to be stopped from doing good by big business. Atleast this is what I read and am told by my Americian friends living in the Philippines.
I hope I am wrong and that the new president is able to do some good for his people in the USA. Ray

All this Euro record this year high seems to me one big cow dow and duck killing Thinking of going USD call but now is not a right time. Trend is still strong upwards so I have to wait for a reversal sign or certain event regards
Now feel much better was training cycling for 2 hours. Had to do twenty 200m long sprints uphill.

People are not against healtcare reform, quite the opposite they want it, they just do not want a mandated government program.

The Heath insurance industry here is broken and in need of massive changes, but the Ins. companies like it as it is because they are making $$$$$.

I'm self employed with family, which means I have no group coverage or pool I can join to bargain for lower costs, as a result my cost for health Insurance runs me +$500 a month that's with a $7500.00 deductible per person and no Co-pay for doctors visits or normal health care screenings. Every 6 months I get +3% increase of premiums, plus they hit me an extra 5-6% increase once a year for rising medical costs, all this is compounded... premiums go up at least 10 to 15% every year.... and thats' with no claims.

The Insurance Industry traps people into coverage, the premimus are low to start but quickly rise after the first year, but they will not cover any type of pre existing conditions during that time.

So once you have a problem you can't change to get cheaper rates as the new company will not accept you or at least will not cover your existing problems... financial roulette if you have a problem during that time. And you are stuck with your old company as they stick it too you every year.

People want the system fixed, not the goverment taking over. Heck they have never ran anything correctly, what makes anyone think they will get this right? In addition we can not afford the program at this time. They say it will not increase the debt, that's because they will tax everyone for the costs...... we can't afford that either.

FYI - there remains a majority of Americans that believe in capitalism, and reject government control of anything that is not defined as part of government's responsibility by the US Constitution. Outside of a few examples, there are no government systems that are more efficient than corporate systems in delivering services, even with a profit motive. Most Americans still believe that profits are not evil or wasteful, as many liberal democrates believe. I would go so far as to say, that if government tries to take over too much, the US will fall into a second revolution, and I will be an active participant in such an event. We pray that it does not come to that, but we are also well armed in case it becomes necessary.
