I just came across this site and I want to learn more about this Ichimoku trading system. I'm looking forward to the insight and help from the forum members.

As I mentioned in my early Report about this pair is in a pullback, the price testing the upper side of the kumo in a 4Hr chart was expected, and that happen a few minutes ago.

This kind of Trade is a countertrend trade, it's a valid trade knowing where the price can go trying to validate some resistance area, as we mentioned today 133.75 and 134.6.

I consider that always it's better take a trade on the Trend direction, this kind of situation (pullbacks) give us an opportunity to be in as soon as the major trend re assume.

If you can see the high of today was 133.85, 10 pips above our first resistance area, good point to take profit in your counter trade.

I mainly work with 2 indicator ichimoku And Harmonic in Long TF
So depends harmonic i got signal sell e/u @1.4530 small position till get confirmation.
Here it's my my weekly and daily chart if anyone interested
Also i took this short because RSI overbought and us index 77
Edit: My mental sl over 1.4630 because if we drew fib from top 1.60xx to 1.23xx the botton then,We got 0.618 fib ,If we break will think again.

Totally agree with you , also i have noticed that the Kumo is flat where the break is and this might be a false break , take care people from this deal , i haven't take it i pref to go with EUR USD the signal is good and the way is clear for the upmove

I real keen about ichimoku and it's great advantage to work with it only.
I just couldN'T help my self sharing the harmonic chart ,Later will posy my ichimoku chart when i get Strong signal.

Hello Vic and fellow Cloud Warriors --

Of course, the BEST times are the London opening and advancing through to New York.

It may be hard or even impossible to trade through all of these hours for many of us. In my time zone (US Pacific) I can get up about time for the NY opening (5 am my time).

Is it possible to just trade NY (I can also trade Asia but, of course, it is pretty slow) or do you find that most of the trades take place during the European open hours?

Since I have been following Vic over these last two weeks it does SEEM that a majority of trades occur during the London opening.

Thanks in advance for your experience on this.

Well I tell you something one of the Big Boyzz told me before and it is very logic , Ichimoku was designed by a Japanese investors and the Japanese people trust there home made stuff, so it is like 90% of the japanese are using the same indicator and once you see a good signal they also see it and they go with it , so the best time to trade Ichi is during the Japanese session and as a personal experience all my winning deals were during this session.
what do you think about his advise to me ??!!

looking at CHF/JPY right now. waiting for a TS cross and thinking about going long. what would you think about this? my major concern is that it looks like it is at a strong resistance.

You were right, Im not ready for Kumo Warrior status yet, Just Soldier.
I see I still have too many questions, too much uncertainty.

Q1. Trend determination - On Day and H4 TF's
a. Long Trend - 1) CS above Price & both must be above cloud
2) TS over KS, Cross up can be below Kumo
3) SenSpan A above Sen Span B

b. Short Trend - 1) CS below Price & both must be below cloud
2) KS over TS, Cross up can be above Kumo (as in USDJPY- D1)
3) SenSpan A below Sen Span B

Q2. Same for MN & W1?

well Ichi is very clear in the trend issue , The cloud ( KUMO ) if the price is above the cloud this is an up trend and if it is below the cloud it is a down trend , very clear and very easy the Ts and Ks can be used as Support and resistance levels only and the cross is a normal MA cross so if Ts crosses Ks from above to down this means that there a pressure for a down move and vice versa .

we shall take care with the Ts Ks cross WRT to the cloud means that if we have a cross down and the price is above the cloud so it is weak cross , inside the cloud neutral cross , below the cloud is strong cross.
i tell you an advise read PDF file posted in here and in 4shared @ resources folder ( a must read file trust in me ) follow up the reports we provide in here , concentrate in one pair only for a while and then every thing will be very clear and very easy.. plz plz plz keep making reports and analyze and post examples in here this will be helpful to you and all of us

Thanks alot everyone for being so helpful. Ichimoku if used properley like you guys do (by looking at long term trend) is the only tool you need.

Yes I'm reading the ichiwiki pdf and re-reading it and some of the posts.

I guess I'm still overwhelmed, Too much info too fast.

I guess I missed this - what is WRT as in (Ts Ks cross WRT to the cloud) - please, Is it explained in the pdf?


Also I'm thinking You normal wake time Euro Session & US Session, My normal wake time Us Session & Asian Session.

What Pairs due you report on? As I would like to choose one of those and study with the Master Kumo Warrior, or should I say Kumo Shogun.

with respect to the Kumo , this means if the cross ( down cross ) is above the kumo it is weak and vice versa

just give it some time and it will be very clear i can assure u this i was facing the same with Ichimoku , also there is a link to a video it will be very helpful to check it ( it is in the PDF also i think )

Hi Scavenger,

A bit late with my feedback however your report is good. The be honest, ichi is a simple system once you understand the importance of the relationship of the difference components to each other and also to the kumo.

You aren't far off the mark and you certainly didn't get a pair that was giving you anything to work with on that particular day.

Keep up your good work, it's the fastest way to polish your skills and putting your opinion out there is the fastest way to learn!! Ichi is at it's most difficult to get the entry signals correct during during periods when markets are consolidating or looking for trend commencement/resumption so the upside is that if you get it sorted now, when the new trend arrives you will be raking up pips very quickly.
