ok back to scalp! kiwi closed for profit and now monitoring aud/usd short 8540-8520 range

aud/usd short still in red from last week, aud/jpy closed for profit now watching eur/jpy short so far in the black. The math! if aud/jpy and eur/jpytrading south or lower eur/aud should rise the bias aud/usd and nzd allso trades shouth

look at the forexlite index
see the enclosure chart
USDLFX - continue going down to level 1.7363 area
AUDLFX - continue going up to level 1.5314 area
if this all the valid movement so we will see the AUDUSD = (AUDLFX/USDLFX) at the level 0.8819

eur/yen : aud/yen = eur/aud short syntheticly

133.42/79.28=1.6828 and for few more trades my eur/aud long should get out of the wood

aud/usd : nzd/usd = aud/nzd
8900/7350=1.2108
8800/7250=1.2137
8700/7150=1.2167
8600/7050=1.2198
8500/6950=1.2230

aud/usd and nzd/usd should trades at lower price as the aud/kiwi cross move upwards and you know where i will buy the aud/nzd cross ....

well i was bit tipsy on last friday night but i was right ... 8530 is very strong ... its a shame, that its a labor day in US ...

i am still very comfortable with my short position ... 8531 was the latest one ...

NAB Business confidence out tomorrow, retail sales out Wed and unemployment rate out on Thursday. Unless all three indicators are "well above expectations", expect Aussie to retrace back to .8380-.8400 level by Friday. Also the net long in Aussie futures is also down this week meaning for a lot of people who held their long from low .8xxx, .85xx was the target point.

I read it somewhere that the true value of the AUD/USD pair under current climate is around .8300 mark (give or take 50 pips).

one of the reasons for this spike is, the futures are closing today so they needed Aussie to close above 85 mark.

All in all, I am still holding my shorts from average .8400 and hope to make some profit by Friday.

Is AUD headed for 86-87 cents by end of this week?

people here are short from as low as .8300 and need a reversal otherwise they'll get wiped out just like Lehman brothers did last sept...

if u take a look at the chart...the price has broken the triangle formation, thus it is going bullish.

about gold and its recent chinese developments, China declared the intention to diversify its investments form by increasing the exposure on currencies different than USD as well as on gold.

Since I know that usually chinese governement is against fast and sudden market changes, and is very attentive not to create sources of panic on the equities, gold and other currencies will be probably supported and bought on the dips rather than aggresively pushed up

China is also aware of its potential, and due to its huge USD reserves, knows well that every move has to be quiet and balanced.
For sure the aimed effect of these interventions is always social and political....with more and more part of the local population able to find and discover different investment forms.

I believe all this will give some support to AUD as well, and I suspect that RBA will soon start some selling activity again in order to limitate the upward of the aussie.

my idea for a slow move towards 0,88 - 89 does not change

The Yellow dotted line in this chart is your 0.8600
The white line just below the yellow is current price.
This may help you in deciding what is possible and what is not.

I'm stiil newbie and never look at TF higher than H4, yours looks like Weekly.
Am I correct that explosion is possible after touching this trend line?

No, this is a Monthly Chart.
Anything is possible, but we can only go for what is most probable.
In my opinion, at this point it can:
1. go up,
2. go down, or
3. dance a little here before deciding where to go

My advice would be to wait and see where it goes. If you want to go short, the rule is to "Sell when it starts going down and not while it is still going up".

I am also waiting for a definite direction. Look at the number of pips one can make from here even on a small position, no matter where it goes. So why not to wait until we are more confident about the direction and leave these dangerous few pips for those who may like to gamble?

Good idea mate.

I think im gonna try catch a bounce off the R2 and have those stops nice and tight. Did that a couple of times with the euro tonight. Has been exceptionally slow going though.

I wonder if the aussie will still be this strong when i go on holidays in 2 weeks time.

(noob question)

Just out of curiosity, would any of you guys trade the divergence thats there now (0.8568), between price and the AO?

What would be the stronger signal? The divergence, or the expectation that once price is past the R2, she will keep going? I see PA is really having a taste of that R2 atm. Apologies if this is a stupid question.
