if i take the aud/nzd cross as an indicator, the aud/usd and nzd/usd should fall becouse when the aussie/kiwi cross trade higher and higher the other pairs should trade lower and lower:

0.7900/0.6350=1.2440
0.8000/0.6450=1.2403
0.8100/0.6550=1.2366
0.8200/0.6650=1.2330
0.8300/0.6750=1.2296
0.8400/0.6850=1.2262

but... the cross pair is topping just above 1.2400 , can it trade hihger? well i hope so cos' im short aud/usd .
now back to my assesment of synthetic play! what is the message she trying to send a cross? bullish on aud/nzd?

Im short too .. hope so if the cross pair goes higher and the gold decreases then I can gain some pips .. hope so good luck to everydbody

I'm pretty sure it's gonna heading up in very short term, after that look for a sell high, for now till the NFP

shanghai index also try very hard to climb(pullback), the trend is down and the momentum will continue next week ! so does the aud/usd

AUD movement highly dependant on the movement of the equity markets. However, it also does seem toppish. I believe it hit 8450ish levels 3 times over the last 2 weeks before coming off.

GS recently upgraded their 3 month outlook to 8700.

Employment numbers out this evening (asia time).

Comments anyone on the movement of AUD?

Long at 8330? Short at 8420/50?

from 5 minute view right now she should break that 8405 to the upside , so im focus on kiwi long now

Dollar flat ahead of key jobs numbers out of US

The Australian dollar was flat today after trading in a tight range ahead of the release of a key US employment report due out tonight.
At midday, the Australian dollar was trading at 83.99 US cents, little changed from yesterday's close of 83.83 US cents. It was also buying 77.79 yen, 58.93 euro cents and 51.46 pence
During the morning, the local unit moved between 84.07 and 83.79 US cents, the latter reached at 11.30am.
The Australian dollar began the local trading day at 83.99 Us cents at 7am, after a positive day on US equity markets and amid some encouraging US economic data.
Easy Forex senior dealer Francisco Solar said the Australian dollar was trading in subdued conditions as market players stayed on the sidelines in anticipation of the US non-farm payrolls report for August.
"People are just waiting to see what the non-farm payrolls report provides tonight,'' Mr Solar said.
"It could be quite a volatile night and could definitely set the tone for start of next week.''
Market expectations are for the US non-farm payrolls report to show the world's largest economy lost 230,000 jobs in August, which would be an improvement from the 247,000 decline in July.
The US unemployment rate was expected to rise to 9.5 per cent, from 9.4 per cent previously.
The non-farm payrolls report was due for release tonight, Australian time.
The Australian dollar touched a calendar-year high of 84.78 US cents on August 14 and has had several unsuccessful attempts to break through that since.Instead, the currency has remained in a broad range between 82.4 and 84.7 US cents.
Mr Solar said signs of an emerging economic recovery had already been priced into the Australian dollar, with further good news required to lift the currency higher.

"The general consensus is that things are slowly grinding higher, but if things start picking up then that could really help push the Aussie and post a new 2009 high,'' Mr Solar said.
"Being such a risk-sensitive currency and very much moving on the back of sentiment, you need constant confirmation that things are recovering in the market.
"You need constant data coming out better than expected, or better than previously at least.''

I think the chart pattern in 1Hr is a sym.triangle , so the next move is up al least in couple of next hours, after that I think it's time to go fo a very deep short,
now I'm already Long from 0.8380
