DislikedI'm not sure yet how to manage it, most option will be hardcoded because the average Joe will not be able to configurate the EA, it's a master piece of art with all the options.
Kaz and some other traders are working on the sets.
The best results I had when I trigger the trend which I'm awaiting and only copy trades in that direction to my real trading platform.
I think I will skip some hours and come back in the early NY session, this PA is too boring.Ignored

DislikedA word of warning (and perhaps a question as to why it may occur?) ...
I use the Trix V6.01 along with the MTF Trix and have found that the MTF Trix often completely change their display information if I switch from my original M1 main chart, up to a higher timeframe and back again (also happened when I was using previous version main Trix on the main chart).
My standard chart is a M1, so the MTF Trix show M5 and M15 (set to 'auto up' their timeframes from the main chart timeframe). If I change the main chart up to M15 or H1 for example and...Ignored

DislikedHi Cobra,
A truly phenomenal achievement by your team. Have been looking at the available settings, wow, would have taken some doing. Cannot praise the team enough, I do not have enough words.
Just a suggestion, instead of hardcoding options, creating 2-3 set files to get people going should do it. I would certainly like to create different sets for different market conditions.
Again, much obliged and thanks ever so much to all contributors.
Warm regards

DislikedI would have to agree with Cobra on this one--less settings the better--that way there can be no mess up by newer traders who think [I emphasize the word think] they know better and start messing with settings only to end up losing a bunch of $
I can't say I've taken a look at the EA, but having worked with some in the past, I think the only settings/variables that should be user defined is MM [money management feature-- EA's can have an auto compounding effect]
A time frame variable where the EA can be set to trade during certain hours only...Ignored
DislikedHi IP, good to see you, waiting for the snake bite?
Maybe a solution would be to release two or three "fixed" EA's (depending on TF and pair to trade) and one for advanced traders with all parameters user defineable.Ignored
DislikedAnother oddity, that may of course be peculiar to my particular setup, is that if I put the trix V6[1][1].1 on a chart along with Miss P's MTF, then the dashed zero centre line, regardless of the TF used of the trix vanishes. Put the trix on any other chart and the centre zero line is there.

DislikedCobra: can you make a version of V6 with all the defaults set to false (alarms and divergence lines ) so it can be copied to THV3 Trix for MTF Histo without causing strange divergence lines in the chart window?Ignored
DislikedHi Cobra
Thanks! Sorry to be a bother - that fixed the problem with the lines but created a problem with a dark green box. The previous version didn't have this, and the user can't control it when it's called by the trix histo. Can you remove that box like in the previous version of Trix 6?Ignored
