Hi guys I take long here on M5 signal for G/J. SL -20 TP +50. My order got filled at 151.77 so I may take profit 10 pips early. She register Chikou exhaustion and return to the cloud already before bouncing so I feel a bit safer with the long.

Hi All,

Currently looking at the GY charts (again) and there is no real direction being supported strongly by the longer time frames.

The shorter timeframes seem to be holding an upward bias however we will need to see some more solid support on the 4hr or daily before looking to jump in I think.

If the hourly tenken breaks up through the top of the kumo we may consider entering on a solid 5min signal however, as most traders at the major institutions are still away on holidays until the end of the labor day weekend in the US this weekend it's a bit difficult to see any meaningful trend changes or resumption taking place this week for GY.

Good work on the scalp sinner. Out of interest, what is your logic behind the upward bias that you hold for this pair. Is it wanting to see the 154.?? resistance hit before continuing down?

Hi 4xAddict, I not hold the pair, exit at +25.

Like you say, she is not safe to trade. GBPUSD is leading her she not moving on her own so she will be volatile in the direction of the trend. Did not realise this they sent me home from work early because I feel and look ill so probably making bad decisions today.

The yen crosses for the last month I have noticed have been loving making inverse h&s type harmonic pattern over and over again. I see three just in the chart below!

I hope not sound like I have an upward bias I am bearish on risk currencies but bullish on central bank manipulation I have no bias. Last week my best day was +80something pips and make all of them on long G/J scalps when she lose 1.8% that day!

I long E/J here at M5 kijun 133.6 SL -10 TP open.

Making money of GY at the moment is very difficult, well done! I remember you telling me last week that you are bearish on the risk pairs however I thought you might have picked up something on the pair that I have missed (often happens ;-) )

It is interestng when you look at the really long term charts for GY, the weekly and monthly TF's are almost perfectly flat since July 12th!!

No wonder things have been difficult. Hope next week starts bringing some new movement!!

Nice to know Ichimoku fighters. A best found Ichimoku's thread here. Has principle to not join any forums before, but realize as a ronin can't fight entire army. Then now, gladly to join Ichimoku army @ ff.
Better a realistic small pip than a fantasy big pip

Yes I picked up the fact trying to take and hold positions in a tightly ranging market will kill you or leave you with 5 +1s a day As I mentioned the biggest drawdown to trader account is always during period of trend change (because it takes a while for them to catch on) so during these ranging period I just scalp using Chikou resistance and wait for big TF to confirm moves.

I am bullish G/J in terms of a retrace to 154.55-155 zone meet and greet the senkou A line of kumo and then drop back down to give perfect H4 Ichi sell signal

Look at market range July 2008-Sept-2008. Look at current market range. G/J lead then, she lead now, we wait for H4 sell signal. I remember in Nov you could wake up in Sydney morning and hit sell make +60 short without even blinking and in March this year same long. We wait for trend! Then Ichi reward us with big pips.

EDIT: Looks like I could have held that G/J long till original TP No matter. I am +35 for today

I've downloaded the Ichi Monitor but can't open it, seems to happen that my platform doesn't read .ex4 archives, only mq4 or mqh, there's a way to change it?

did you copy it to experts/indicators folder ?

Yes and to desktop too, but it shows as notepad archive and Metaeditor simply ignore it (doesn't show it at all)

I thought it would be a good thing for everyone to read but especially our newer members who arehurriedly reading back through this thread and about to jump into the market. This gives some perspective on why we always follow the rules that Vic has established here.

The image shows the potential entry point for a BUY on the GY pair if we have only used the 5min/15min/30minand 1hr TF's.

If you have any questions with this let me know and certainly any feedback or additional info on anything I might have missed is greatly encouraged.

Safe trading everyone, I've not seen volume this low in a long time.

Hello Wolfan71,

Your indicator "Ichimoku signal" is fabulous.
Can you create a dashboard?
A first vertical column with the currencypairs,
a second with the spread for each one,
the third with the "Ichimoku Signal" for each pair.

I am not a programer. But I have seen some interessant dashboards about other threads. I don't know why but these dashboards are programmed as expert advisor and used as indicator.

We are just about to have a bullish TKXovr on the 5M EUr/Jpy.

But I'm not convinced the bears are out of the markets atm.
