DislikedI've just realised I have a major weakness in reading PA. After placing a scout (and maybe this is because my account is not large) I have a vested interest in the market going in the direction that I placed my scout. So, instead of looing at the PA and feeling where it is going, I am looking at the PA and trying to fit it around my desires - i.e. trying to see signs that it is going my way. I need to be more detached I think....

The only assumption you should have about your scout is that YOU are wrong until the market proves you right. Don't waste time and money waiting for her to prove you are wrong. If your scout is misbehaving kill it and move on. Losses are part of this business and learning to take the best loss is what will make you a successful trader.

That can happen at any time, if you’re not mentally prepared for it, you will end up with that deer in the head light look as the bus runs you over.
The most basic explanation is to follow the trend until it ends, as you...Ignored
