The scout is the initial entry to get the feel. Position is built on the market's trend weakness ( on the retrace as you feel price turning back in the trend direction ) and profits taken on the trend strength as it makes new ground (when you feel the move starting to slow down).
As long as the trend is intact, you entries may be early or late if ill timed, but they are ok as long as the market holds it's form or trend. You will learn to time the market better with experience (as long as your mental side is healthy) If your constantly worried about position that's where your focus is, and not on the charts.
If short sell the rallies.
