I had the same critical error before before on my Mt4 platform with different indicators. You may want to check and make sure your MT4 platform is updated to build 224. That has corrected my error with this update. I believe Build 224 is the most recent update to MT4. I have no problems with the Ichimoku Monitor indicator.

This may work, if nothing else does.

H 4 CANDLES are still below the cloud supported by Tenken but we have to see next week it will still support

H1 canles has now moved from Kumo A to Kumo B and we have to see
Kijune will support


I think in H 1 if Kijune is not going to spport there will be a clear cross down IN M 5 to go for short

Daily there is no support from tenken or from kijun and the cross down is
still their

that would be an good short entry goodspeed, the TS/KS cross occurred below the cloud, the chikou span is below the price 26 bars in the past, and if you look at the 15M it is still in the cloud so you should wait till it clears the lower edge, the 1H and 4H don't corroborate so I would not be too greedy. all in all it was good for a 20-30 pips. I see that you are using Heikin Ashi candles, that also by itself is a good indicator of a strong down momentum, but what is the indicator at the bottom you are using?

Disclaimer: I have very little experience as real trader so the following statements are simply my considerations and not trading indications. This is just a try to begin to define a way to use Ichimoku Monitor. This is also useful for me to set my mind.

Stated that we should consider only signal with 5 star
TP should be identified consistently with TF we are trading.
SL should be identified in proximity of one of the ichimoku components that reverses initial 5 star condition on the corresponding TF chart (e.g. at the other side or within the kumo)

If the signal propagates to higher TF (5 star again) we could switch and reposition TP and SL (meaning that we wish higher TP sustaining higher drawdown)
At the lower TF the situation could be changed (even reversed) but now we are trading another chart…

TP could not be identified and the trade will close when condition for 5 star signal are invalidated.

At the state of art signal stars are assigned just referring to relative TF.
Tipically:
- one star for Chikou span confirmation;
- one star for kumo sentiment;
- one star for price opposite to kumo (weak signal) or two stars if price within kumo (neutral signal) or three stars if kumo supports price

So at the moment in the monitor there isn’t evaluation of a signal referring to other (tipically higher) timeframe!!!

Feel free to give your opinion.

Hey Vic,

I just logged back onto FF after a few months away and was happy to see someone using Ichi for trading. I have always been impressed with ichi on the longer time frames...they are simple and let you get the big picture and they are easy to take postions that can run for weeks and months. If you do not mind I will keep posting and give a longer term time frame to pairs that are setting up for good trades....I know you guys love the 5 min.

very nice to see you back and joining us , thanks for your post , actually we are using the 5Min now cause we are the poor trader in this market and we just need to keep hunting pips , but we never isolate ourselves from the big picture this is one of the rules for trading on 5 Mins , i can assure you that once my money are good enough to go with the daily chart and the higher TFs will not open the 5mins again , please keep posting your charts they are very good

I have one Question!!!

A bullish signal is issued when the Tenkan-Sen crosses the Kijun-Sen from below. A bearish signal is issued when the Tenkan-Sen crosses the Kijun-Sen from above. However, there are different levels of strength for the buy and sell signals of an Ichimoku chart.

so If Someone watching the lesser Time Frame let Assume 5 minute..

And The 30 Minute Chart Hasn't seen the Crosses Over.. and in 30 minute Chart there is a Kumo Cloud Support As We haven't Seen in Lesser 5 minute Time Frame so sir..

This is a very new trader, have only done demo trading so far, however i have been following your thread very earnestly and have tried the ichi, and it works wonderfully. I will be starting live this coming week and i will definitely be using ichi for a jumpstart. Wish me luck.

Btw, i have been using deal book and will still be using. However i just started demo on MT4. When i tried running Wolfgan script on MT4 it doesnt work. Basically I drag and drop the script into the expert/script folder, then tried executing it under the navigator menu, but it doesnt work. Could it be due to vista? I d/l build 225.

Could someone enlighten a totally new and clueless trader? Thanks yall.

Copy it to experts/indicators folder
