This is EURJPY same like GBPJPY but it also failed to close below 50.0% RET.

This is EURUSD u see there is a Trend Line in daily and 365 EMA in 4H but none of them was touched but there was also 61.8% and same candlestick pattern.

BTW don't pay attention my TP's or SL's cause i am manually Trailing them.

Looking at the USDCHF IF the macd shows a tc would you take the long on the next bar in about 50 mins?

the sl will be just below the 89 ma and the first take profit will just below the trend line?

Now if you are good at TC's you don't need to trade CT's cause when you are in a trend and you are going for a CT your first TP would be 8-EMA which don't stay much away from price.

If we look at Nerd's chart Stop would be around 70 pips and Target would be around 20 pips. I think nobody...

Hi,

I am finding it hard to back test using the MT4 i m using (MIG FXDD). I find that there are missing mths of data, like it will show oct'08 data, and then jump to Dec'08 missing nov08 price data.

What other brokers do you guys recommend??

I have a question for you pals. I see that EU is retracing to the 21ema and it is getting closer to it and I think it will go down very soon. The question, should I be looking to 1h time frame now for a TC and early entry?

Hi,

No trade on the USDCHF, the MACD did not turn.

About the 1 hr system, can we trade it by itself, without the 4hr cht?

I don't trade USDCHF but if you trade it set your
1st tp at trend line
2nd at 365 EMA
and
let the remaining go cause i think if it breaks out of this range you could get some big pips.

Ask yourself

have you learned enough about the 4h entries and rules?

have you practiced for at least 2-3 months at 4h tf?

if you did above two how did it go are you satisfied with yourself and this system?

Thank you nasir,

I read most of the 4h macd thread documents and phill's pdf and listened to the audio files. I think I understand the strategy and demo traded it to a good degree, but not enough to go live. I started to demo trade and read about forex one year ago and I am giving my self one more year of demo trading before going live. I read and learned about so many strategies including the 4h macd, but now I am back to the 4h macd strategy because I feel that it suits me better and I beleive in what phill says. I demo traded the 4h time frame for few months and it was not bad for a begineer like me but I am still not sure about the 1h. This is the reason I ask questions of this kind. I appreaciate taking the time by you and other memebers of this thread to comment on my questions. Thank you

Hi Welshguy are you using MIG platform. Can you post your chart? I think it's late to enter EU, in my experience after a pin and a candle with MACD turn TC like this price will retrace hard.

I think that today most of the major pairs have tried to start the rhythm but all the major pairs have failed to do that so.The news who were in 12.30GMT today I think stop that start. it is my personal opinion but there is no start of the rhythm today so more attention and patience we need now.

I just took a short position on USDJPY.

Price went below the 89SMA and den below the 200SMA and pulled back to the 21EMA. I hve a TC on my 4 hour MACD wid da pair closing below 200SMA again...derez a TC n a pullback to 21EMA on my hourly charts as well...

Came out of this trade from the 4H close

Exit at 1.4117

- 24 pips (first losing trade in 4 months)
