The only difference is the width of the coral line, I posted some pages ago an alternative coral which has almost the same calculation and the difference between them isn't relevant. That one is a stand alone and don't need another additional indicator.

As a newbee read all about Fibonacci, Support and Resistance and Divergence, you will need it to trade THV as this isn't a pure mechanical system.

Also: use trading sessions with good moves like the London and London/NY overlapping, others are mostly with low ATR and a good chance to feed your broker's mouth unless you know how to scalp some points.

Under no circumstances try to trade live JPY pairs untill you master E/U, they move very fast and need good skills.

Read about MM and try not to risk more than 2% per trade.

Reading "Trading in the zone" will help you to understand yourself and be disciplinated during the session.

I have now read every post in this thread. From time to time my resolve wavered but being somewhat pedantic by nature I persevered. In that I learnt a great deal I have to say it was really worth it. For example, until I read this thread I hadn’t realized that there were so many candle variations. Pun alert, apropos the THV system and this thread, reminds me of a little poem that was popular with the fairer sex in the late 1920s through the 50s:

“My candle burns at both ends;
it will not last the night;
But Ah, my foes, and Oh my friends –
it gives a lovely light.”

Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892 – 1950).

In many ways the thread is a mirror of the human condition. The same questions over and over again – doesn’t anyone look for answers before they ask? The energetic, the lazy, the hopeless etc. The indie collectors – I wonder if they ever use them – or just collect them? And let’s not forget those who barge in and ask, without so much as a please or a thank you: How much can I make and how quickly? Most seem to disappear never to return. Too many to mention but I thought this one a particular gem:

“can (sic) anyone tell me which is the best system so far?”

But I noticed that members, in that they remain unfailingly helpful, do not lose their equanimity and loose off a riposte. I doubt I could resist a “didn’t your parents teach you to say please” type reply.

I thank Cobra and the team members for their selflessness in preparing and making the THV system and this thread available. Also of course the participants in the thread for their constantly helpful and patient services. I don’t want to mention any names because there are so many great team members and contributors that an omission, however inadvertent, would be ungentlemanly. However, it would be even more ungentlemanly to let this opportunity pass without especial thanks to the two ladies, Doblece and MissPips.

morning at all!
i have problems withthv templates on my alpary demo and real account.. mt4 doesn't open... i try to reinstall it.. it is ok but when i try to add any of thv template (for example THV from irishpips) it stops work..

Good morning,

I have a question regarding resistance on my chart. Recently I tried to change the color of my pivot point lines and it seems I made something wrong. Now I have MS-, S-, D_S, M_pivot-, CS-, and yLow/High- lines (daily, weekly, monthly...pivots) on my screen. In addition I'm using psychlevels, MAs, the coral and s&r levels on different timeframes to find resistance and support areas. In the end my chart is full of them and I miss the most moves because a set up appears always near a resistance level. My question is how much resistance is too much resistance. I'm still trading the 1 min chart. What should be my focus?

Try to delete the old pivot indicator from the indicator list and add the latest one.

Does that template use FFCal? A lot of people reported problems with
it. If it does try downloading the new one posted in the attachments
or editing the template and removing it.

If that doesn't help, try adding the indies one by one to
a clean template to discover which one is causing the problem.

ahhh lol I mean the FFcal too. I still thought about my last post and wrote pivot instead of ffcal. sry. Try to delete the old ffcal indicator and add the new one.

Hi There,

Lately I have had a problem with the THV MTF Cloud Histo lights. As you can see in the image, the lights are green for the M15 and M5 even though the PA on the M15 and M5 was under/out of the clouds. They should be red. I am running THV Trix V5.00.

Can I get some help on this? The image/trade is for a trade taken at 6:17 EST.

Sure sounds like a problem with FFCal.

Easiest fix is open your program indi directory which will be located somewhere like:
"C:>Program Files>YOUR_BROKER>experts>indicators"

Delete the files THV3 FFCal.mq4 and THV3 FFCal.ex4

Now copy & paste the attached version of THV3 FFCal.mq4 back into the directory.

Restart and the problem should be fixed. If you are running more than one copy of MT4 you will need to do this in all of them.

I can beat that for ineptitude ....

Took a position recently on the CAD/JPY and could not work out why my balance had hardly moved until I realised I actually took the position on the CHFJPY !!!
